One medical probe includes an elongate elastically deformable member including a helically wound element, and a sheath having an inner surface which contacts an outer surface of the elastically deformable member. The probe is elastically deformable, for traversing the tract, by virtue of the elastically deformable member. The probe may include a treatment element, which can be used to perform a procedure in the body of a patient. An assembly includes a probe and a treatment element. The medical probe has a particular use in the treatment of a fistula, in which the probe takes the form of a fistula probe adapted to traverse a fistula tract.

The disclosure provides a dynamic vascular access and closure device for radial cinching of an access site. The device includes a tensioning tube, a resilient member disposed within the tensioning tube, and a plurality of sutures extending axially between a distal end of the tensioning tube and a proximal end of the tensioning tube. A proximal end of each of the plurality of sutures can be configured to attach to the resilient member such that movement of that suture causes compression or extension of the resilient member within the tensioning tube to provide cinching to the sutures.

Device Allowing Large Bore Transseptal Access With Subsequent Atrial Re-Access And Method Thereof

The present disclosure relates to medical devices. More particularly, this disclosure describes a vascular device allowing large bore transseptal access with subsequent atrial re-access by preplacing closures/tissue approximating sutures prior to creating a septostomy. Generally, the device may include a delivery catheter for puncturing and cutting the interatrial septum. An anchor of the delivery catheter may secure the suture in an atrium to a septum wall, for example, the left atrium. Incisions may be made by an expandable cutting implement which may use mechanical or radio frequency (RF) energy without interfering with the suture. A therapeutic instrument may be advanced through the tissue plane after the incisions are made by the cutting implement. Closure of the incision may be performed with the previously placed sutures.

Occluder and method for sewing occluder

An occluder has a first disk-shaped structure with a grid, wherein the first disk-shaped structure is woven from at least two groups of braided wires, and the two groups of braided wires are crossed to form multiple rings of crossing points. A blocking membrane is also arranged in the disk-shaped structure, with an edge of the blocking membrane connected to the outermost ring of crossing points of the multiple rings of crossing points through a sewing wire, and the number of crossing points in the outermost ring of crossing points sewn with the blocking membrane is smaller than the number of all the crossing points in the outermost ring of the crossing points. The occluder can reduce the possibility of the phenomenon where the edge of the blocking membrane cannot abut against a disk face edge of the occluder, thereby improving the occlusion effect of the occluder.

The medical device including a base configured to arranged on an upper surface of the tissue in the living body; a plurality of levers, each of the plurality of levers having a needle arranged on a lower surface thereof and configured to puncture the tissue in the living body, and wherein the plurality of lever are configured to be received with a slot or track of the base; and at least one tie, the at least one tie configured to hold together the plurality levers and needles upon compressing the tissue in the living body upon moving the plurality of levers inward in the slot or track of the base.
