INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION INFORMATION CONTEXTUALIZATION METHOD AND SYSTEM
An industrial data presentation system leverages structured data types defined on industrial devices to generate and deliver meaningful presentations of industrial data. Industrial devices are configured to support structured data types referred to as basic information data types (BIDTs) comprising a finite set of structured information data types, including a rate data type, a state data type, an odometer data type, and an event data type. The BIDTs are discoverable by a gateway device on which models of industrial assets can be defined, where the models reference the BIDTs defined on the industrial devices. The gateway device can retrieve industrial data from the data tags, formatted in accordance with the data types and associated user-defined metadata specific to the respective data types. The gateway device or a separate application server system can then generate graphical presentations of the industrial data in accordance with the model and the metadata.
SERVO SYSTEM AND SERVO SYSTEM CONTROL METHOD
This servo system is a servo system in which a host apparatus and a plurality of servo amplifiers transmit and receive a communication signal. Each of the servo amplifiers includes a servo computation unit configured to perform servo computation processing, a communication unit configured to transmit and receive the communication signal, a storage unit configured to save servo computation information in the servo computation processing as history data, and a trigger information processor configured to set, in advance, a save stop condition for stopping saving the history data, determine, for each servo computation period, whether the save stop condition is matched, and notify, when the save stop condition is matched, the communication unit of a determination result indicating detection of a trigger as a trigger detection flag.
SERVER AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC SELECTION OF TAGS FOR MODELING AND ANOMALY DETECTION
A server system can operate to function as an automatic association of tags defining a system within a process. The operations include accessing tags and associated signals including a plurality of data values over time indicative of a physical property, behavior or measurement of a component of the process. For each signal, calculating a time-weighted average over a specific time period, selecting a specific number of different day periods sampled from the tags and signals, and for each tag, calculating a slope and intercept by calculating a linear regression of plurality of signals over the specific time period. Further, calculating a residual value of each data value of the signals over the specific time period, and calculating a normalized value of each residual value, and then calculating the absolute value of the dot product of the normalized residual value and the residual value of a subsequent number of tags.
Apparatus and method for determining key performance indicators
A data processing apparatus is deployed at a cloud network, and includes a plurality of data nodes, a receiver circuit, and an aggregation circuit. The receiver circuit is coupled to the plurality of data nodes and is configured to receive downtime records from a plurality of industrial machines, and to selectively route the downtime records to selected ones of the plurality of data nodes based upon a predetermined criteria. Each of the plurality of data nodes comprises a control circuit and a memory. Each control circuit is configured to, in parallel with the other control circuits, to further populate the downtime records with other data related to the operation of the machines, determine one or more time windows for each of the records, and divide the records according to the time windows.

DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM AND REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM
According to one embodiment, a data collection system includes a receiving module configured to receive semi-structured data including first data of a first level and a plurality of second data of a second level, the first data including a plurality of the second data, wherein a plurality of second identification information are respectively set for a plurality of the second data, a database, an information storage module configured to store storage position information indicating storage positions of a plurality of the second identification information in the database, and a registration module configured to write a plurality of the second data to the database based on the storage position information.
Industrial monitoring using cloud computing
Systems, methods, and software to facilitate cloud-based data processing and analysis in an industrial automation environment are disclosed herein. In at least one implementation, operational data generated by at least one industrial machine is stored in a local cache. The operational data is transferred for storage in an unstructured data storage system in a cloud-based architecture. In the cloud-based architecture, the operational data is processed to convert the operational data to a structured format and the operational data in the structured format is then stored in a structured data storage system. In response to receiving a request for analytics, at least a portion of the operational data is extracted from the structured data storage system and the analytics are executed on the at least the portion of the operational data.
