SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC LEARNING OF PRODUCT MANIPULATION
A system for automatic learning of product manipulation, includes multiple scales for determining weight distributions of a product at different locations; multiple sensors for capturing images of the product; a robotic device for manipulating the product; and a computing device in communication with the other components. The computing device is configured to: control the robotic device to manipulate the product with predetermined parameters; determine dimensions and orientation of the product before and after the manipulation; calculate weight distribution of the product; evaluate the parameters; and determine suitable manipulation parameters of the product based on the evaluation.
Automatic batch picking robot
A robotic system has a vehicle, a robot, a first removable rack and a second removable rack. The robot, the first removable rack and the second removable rack are mounted on a platform of the vehicle. A plurality of latches are used to lock or unlock the first removable rack and the second removable rack. The robot comprises a rotatable base. A method uses the robotic system to move a plurality of items from a stationary rack to a designated location.
Intelligent force reducing double-acting counterweight
A movable counterweight that can reduce lifting and lowering torque. In one embodiment, a beam pumping unit can have a movable beam counterweight attached to a positioning drive on the beam and can be intelligently positioned to achieve lowest net torque required by one or more of a prime mover and lowest net gear torque in in the speed reducer. Optionally, positioning can be calculated by one or more of monitoring current requirements of the motor and monitoring the beam load with a load cell, which can then be merged with crank position readings and processed into signals sent to the positioning drive, which causes the counterweight to move to the best position along the on the length of the beam to achieve one or more of near to lowest current draw by the prime mover and lowest net gear torque in in the speed reducer.

Articulated reciprocating counterweight
A moving counterweight that reduces lifting and lowering torque of an unbalanced load. In one embodiment, a beam pump, an articulated reciprocating counterweight extending above the effort of a class 1 lever on extended pitman arms above the lever effort at the tail bearing to structurally and continuously changes it's position in an air-arc to reduce lifting and lowering torque, by rigid-mechanical geometric re-positioning of the counterbalance effect to and fro, when the rotation is crank arms falling toward the well load, thus mechanically, continuously, favorably, and without friction re-positioning the counterweight either away from the load and fulcrum thereby increasing the counterbalance effect, or nearer to the load and fulcrum thereby decreasing the counterbalance effect, as is desirable to compensate the unbalanced downhole load, where the load in the lift direction exceeds the load in the return direction. The longer the extension of the pitman arm above the beam with the counterweight attached the greater is the counterweight effect of the counterweight deadweight.
Computer Optimized Mixed Parcel Loading Equipment
A parcel processing system and method. A method includes receiving a plurality of items to be sorted. The method includes receiving a plurality of parcels by a parcel processing apparatus and producing parcel data corresponding to each of the parcels, the parcel data including physical dimensions and a weight for each parcel. The method includes designing a virtual stack of the plurality of parcels to occupy a working volume according to the parcel data by a volumetric modeling engine. The method includes building a physical stack of the parcels that corresponds to the virtual stack by a working volume builder, wherein the physical stack is thereafter transferred into the working volume in a container.
Aerodynamically streamlined enclosure for input devices of a medication preparation system
A system for preparing a pharmaceutical compound comprises: a scale having a platen configured for placement of an object thereon; a supporting arm comprising a first end coupled to a portion of the scale and a second end extending to a position above the platen of the scale; and an enclosure housing extending from the second end of the supporting arm and configured to house at least one input device. The enclosure housing has a curved front profile to minimize flow disturbance when the system is positioned within a flow hood.
Enhanced platen for pharmaceutical compounding
A system for preparing and administering a prescribed fluidic pharmaceutical compound, such as a chemotherapy compound, includes a scale having a platen. The scale is in communication with a user display for displaying an output of the scale. An image capture device having a field of view for capturing at least one image of an object placed on the platen is provided in communication with the user display for displaying the captured image. The platen may include a visual identifier for identifying a portion of the field of view of the image capture device. The platen may also include a tackifier or absorbent material. The platen may be formed of a light-transmissible material.
