A management device for managing the manufacturing line includes: a feature quantity acquisition unit acquiring, from apparatus information representing states of apparatuses included in the manufacturing line, feature quantities included in the apparatus information; a feature quantity evaluation unit comparing the acquired feature quantities with feature quantities included in apparatus information representing basic states of the apparatuses and determining states of the apparatuses; a completion acquisition unit acquiring completion information representing a completed state of the target; and an evaluation unit comparing a value obtained by applying a weight based on the completion information to the output of the feature quantity evaluation unit with a threshold value and evaluating the state of the manufacturing line based on the comparison result.

An issue tracking and resolution method includes receiving an issue to an issue tracking and resolution (ITR) system via a network. The ITR system includes a directory including a plurality of directory items. The method further includes associating the issue with a first directory item of the plurality of directory items, where the plurality of directory items includes at least one machine and at least one operation performed by the machine. The method includes subscribing a first subscriber to the ITR system via the network; and associating the first subscriber with at least one directory items of the plurality of directory items. The first directory item is compared with at least one directory item associated with the first subscriber using the ITR system, and an issue notification is sent to the first subscriber when the first directory item matches the directory item associated with the first subscriber.

A system for rule management, predictive maintenance and quality assurance of a process using automatic rule formation comprising a plurality of sensors capable of being attached to at least one machine for measuring at least one information about the process and machine operation. The system comprises a server connected to the sensors over a wireless communication network and running a reconfigurable rule management program for identifying and processing the particular process and machine information related to at least one process received from the plurality of sensors. A controller in communication with the server capable of controlling the process based on a rule set by the rule engine. The rule engine automatically detects the normal process data, classifies the received data based on the dynamic rule formed by the rule engine and finds anomalies in the process or machine operation for predictive maintenance and process quality assurance.
