REVERSIBLE TATTOO COLORANT AND METHOD
A tattoo ink or colorant has magnetic properties. The ink is delivered to the proper depth of the skin. The colorant remains in place, forming the desired visible design. When removal of the tattoo is desired, a magnet is topically applied to draw the ink or colorant to move the nanoparticles to the epidermis. The nanoparticles are then shed from the epidermis along with squamous cell debris.
Optical Treatment Methods
A treatment system and method includes use of a chemical facilitator to provide a result-effective event against one or more negative therapeutic effects related to exposing to a light output a skin portion including a condition treatable in whole or in part with light. In one exemplary embodiment for skin treatment including tattoo removal, perfluorodecalin is used to inhibit or resolve whitening, for example to speed a laser therapy session.
Systems and Methods for Planning Hair Transplantation
Systems and methods for creating a treatment plan for cosmetic procedures, for example, a hair transplantation procedure, are provided. The treatment plan allows creating a natural looking hair whorl either automatically, with a user input, or by a combination of both. Various techniques and methods described in the application provide for improved planning of a natural looking hair.
PULSED ACOUSTIC WAVE DERMAL CLEARING SYSTEM AND METHOD
Methods and systems for method for acoustic treatment of tissue to disperse vacuoles within the tissue. Some of the present methods and systems comprise: directing pulsed acoustic waves from the acoustic wave generator into the tissue containing the vacuoles. Some of the present methods include identifying the location of tissue containing vacuoles, and/or coupling (e.g., acoustically) an acoustic wave generator to the tissue containing the vacuoles.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR REMOVAL OF SKIN PIGMENTATION AND TATTOO INK
Methods and apparatus for dermatological laser treatment, e.g. for the removal of unwanted tattoos or other skin pigmentation. Removal of multiple colors with a single pulsed laser beam may be achieved using intensities in excess of about 50 GB/cm.sup.2. Methods for reducing the pain and tissue damage associated with laser tattoo removal include using a spot size of less than 2 mm with a fluence in the range of 0.5-10 J/cm.sup.2. Scanning the laser beam over an area of skin to be treated allows such areas to be treated accurately with scanning patterns calculated to promote rapid dissipation of heat away from treated portions of the skin. Multiple treatment rooms may be served by a single pulsed treatment laser by beam toggling, splitting or pulse-picking to minimise downtime of the laser.
APPARATUS FOR GENERATING THERAPEUTIC SHOCKWAVES AND APPLICATIONS OF SAME
Apparatuses and methods to generate high frequency shock waves in a controlled manner. The generated shock waves can be delivered to certain cellular structures of a patient for use in medical and/or aesthetic therapeutic applications. The shock waves can be configured to impose sufficient mechanical stress to the targeted cells of the tissue to rupture the targeted cells. Embodiments of the apparatuses and methods of the present invention provide targeted rupturing of specific cells without damaging side effects such as cavitation or thermal degradation of surrounding non-targeted cells.
Silver titanium dioxide coating material, atomized silver titanium dioxide solution for inhaling and photocatalytic titanium dioxide solution for tattoo removal
A device includes a material and a silver titanium dioxide coating supported by the material. The material may be a face mask adapted to be worn by a user. The coating may be applied via a Silver Titanium Dioxide solution. The solution may also be atomized for inhaling. Silver Titanium Dioxide acts as a photocatalyst at least due to the Titanium Dioxide to degrade organic molecules and microorganisms. The silver acts as a Bacteria stat, Fungus stat, and a Virus stat with or without light exposure. A titanium dioxide solution may be applied to skin. Exposure of the solution imbibed skin to light may be performed to remove or reduce tattoos.
RAPID PULSE ELECTROHYDRAULIC (EH) SHOCKWAVE GENERATOR APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR MEDICAL AND COSMETIC TREATMENTS
Apparatuses and methods for electrohydraulic generation of shockwaves at a rate of between 10 Hz and 5 MHz, and/or that permit a user to view a region of a patient comprising target cells during application of generated shockwaves to the region. Methods of applying electro-hydraulically generated shockwaves to target tissues (e.g., for reducing the appearance of tattoos, treatment or reduction of certain conditions and/or maladies).
Needle cartridge assembly and methods for skin treatment using same
A needle cartridge assembly for use with a pen for treatment of skin discoloration or scarring includes each of a housing and a needle affixed to a plunger. The housing has an interior cavity, an end with an opening, and a bulbous portion at or near a midsection that is adapted to retain a removal solution. The plunger is arranged at least partially within the housing, and the needle includes a plurality of pins extending from an end thereof. The needle is adapted to be displaceable longitudinally through the interior cavity to maneuver the plurality of pins through the opening. The plurality of pins is adapted to flare outward at least upon passing through the opening.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR ABLATION OF THE SKIN
Disclosed herein are apparatuses, systems, kits, and methods for treating skin, such as skin tightening or for treating diseases, disorders, and conditions that would benefit from tissue area or volume reduction, skin restoration, skin tightening, skin lifting, and/or skin repositioning and/or for generally improving skin function or appearance (e.g., the removal of unwanted skin features or irregularities such as sebaceous glands, sweat glands, hair follicles, necrosis, and fibrosis). Such apparatuses, systems, kits, and methods comprise an apparatus having a handheld main body and a detachably attachable tip comprising one or more needles.
