Systems and methods for dynamic manufacturing line monitoring
A system receives operations data and determines operations indicator(s) from the operations data. An operator on a manufacturing line reports a downtime event via a human machine interface device. The system receives downtime event and uptime information. The system calculates an operations indicator, such as an overall equipment effectiveness indicator, from the downtime event and uptime information. A user interface of the system includes the operations indicator(s) and visualizations. Some visualizations include a timeline indicating downtime events and other operations events. Additional downtime and uptime information is received by the system in substantially real-time. The system dynamically calculates updated operations indicator(s) from the additional downtime and uptime information.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VISUAL STATE IDENTIFICATION OF AUTOMATION SYSTEMS
A system for visual state identification including: a visual display system including a plurality of light displays, each of the light displays provided to different physical locations on an automation system; an execution device operatively connected to the visual display system, including: an input device configured to receive data from the automation system; and computer readable instructions which, if executed by a processor, cause the processor to: receive input data; determine the state of the automation system based on the input data, wherein the state may include an area of interest related to one of the different physical locations; communicate with the visual display system to selectively light a portion of one or more of the plurality of light displays to display the state of the automation system and the physical location of the area of interest.
MANAGING ASSETS BY PROCESS VARIABLE MAPPING
Method of condition monitoring an industrial asset is described. The method involves collecting one or more of process variables associated with the industrial asset. Determining abnormal operating conditions for the one or more process variables. Providing a graphic monitoring of the industrial asset, wherein the graphic monitoring visually represents part or portion of the industrial asset operating in abnormal operating conditions.
Enhanced Work Order Generation and Tracking System
A work order initiation and tracking system is coupled between various plant asset diagnostic systems and a work or business management system within a process plant. The work order initiation and tracking system includes a user interface that enables a user to review diagnostic data, recommendations, and other information from one or more of the diagnostic systems regarding potential or recommended changes to plant assets, and to initiate the generation of one or more work orders to implement the recommendations or corrections based on information from the diagnostic systems. The work order initiation and tracking system assists the user in generating work orders by tracking and viewing the created work orders associated with various assets in the plant based on previous diagnostic information or recommendations, by enabling the user to copy data or information from the asset diagnostic applications into the work order generation system, by translating or associating asset name and tag data from the diagnostic systems to the work order generation system to assure that the correct assets are identified in the work orders, and by tracking the progress of the work orders sent to and generated by the business and work management system to provide the user with information pertaining to previously ordered work within the plant.
Process performance issues and alarm notification using data analytics
A method of alarm notification includes providing data for an industrial process including stored alarm event data and stored Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data, and an alarm event-KPI correlation and operator notification system. Patterns of relationships are discovered between the stored alarm event and KPI data to provide a reference pattern database that identifies KPI violation events in the KPI data as a function of the alarm event data or alarm events in the alarm event data as a function of the KPI data. Pattern matching uses a real-time alarm event and real-time KPI data to determine a pattern similarity by comparing a current sequence spanning a predetermined time of the real-time alarm event and KPI data to the patterns. When the pattern matching identifies a current alarm event or KPI violation event, an operator is notified and a predicted KPI value or feature or a predicted alarm event.
VISUALIZATION SYSTEM
A visualization system includes: a first creation section configured to create, for each product manufacturing unit, a line segment connecting a start or end time of a first step to a start or end time of a subsequent second step; a second creation section configured to identify, based on a change log of a step characteristic factor at each manufacturing step, any change in step characteristic factor observed at the first and second steps, and to create a display object representing magnitude of the change in step characteristic factor or including a region representing an attribute of the changed step characteristic factor; and a display control section configured to cause: to display a line segment representing the time axis, created by the first creation section, and the display object, and to display the display objects over positions of the start or end times on time axes of their associated steps.
DATA REPRODUCTION DEVICE FOR INDUSTRIAL PLANT
A first graph display processing unit displays, on a first graph, a temporal variation of first process data accumulated in a process data storage unit. A second graph display processing unit displays, on a second graph, a temporal variation of second process data accumulated in the process data storage unit, and moves a time range of the data displayed on the second graph in accordance with a change of the time pointed to by a second time cursor on the second graph. A time coordination unit stores the time Ta pointed to by a first time cursor and changes the time pointed to by the second time cursor to time Ta, and thereby causes second process data of the same time as that of the first process data displayed on the first graph to be displayed on the second graph.
Method for Automatically Evaluating Alarm Clusters
A method for identifying an output alarm message of an alarm message cluster in a management system of a technical installation is proposed, wherein alarm messages arriving in the management system of the technical installation are detected and stored in a storage device, a specific time range is defined for further processing the alarm messages contained in the time range, at least one time instant within the time range, at which an output alarm message arrives in the technical installation is determined, and the at least one specific time instant is transmitted to a control device, which is embodied to display the alarm messages.
Smart digital computer platform to display fugitive emissions of a facility
A smart digital computer platform is disclosed that collects, analyzes, and/or renders appropriate information about fugitive emissions identified by a sensor network-based emissions monitoring system in a facility. More specifically to the methods used by the smart digital computer platform to analyze, filter, and transform the collected monitoring data into a visual output that is capable of being rendered on a graphical user interface (GUI) on a screen display with, in some embodiments, a restricted form factor. For example, smart analytics may be used to cull, filter, and transform the data displayed in a pop-up dialog box on a GUI. In another example, the transformed data may be translated into a visual, graphical element that conveys an abundance of appropriate, tailored information to a particular type of user viewing the GUI.
