Manufacturing environment management system
A system includes wireless access points operable to communicate with a communication network and electronic tracking devices that each include an electronic-ink display. The electronic tracking devices are operable to communicate wirelessly with the wireless access points. The system also includes manufacturing system operator computer systems operable to communicate with the communication network. The system further includes a server operable to execute instructions to update at least one entry in a manufacturing system database based on receiving an operation notification from one of the manufacturing system operator computer systems. The server can transmit a display update for the electronic-ink display of an identified electronic tracking device through at least one of the wireless access points based on determining that the operation notification includes a transition from a current manufacturing process step to a next manufacturing process step.

DIGITAL MANUFACTURING
A digital manufacturing system includes a web portal to receive product configuration information. An enterprise resource planning subsystem generates a production order based on the product configuration information, and determines a manufacturing resource plan and production steps for manufacturing the product.
A manufacturing execution subsystem generates an identifier for the manufacturing resource plan, and communicate the manufacturing resource plan and the production steps to a production control subsystem controlling machines performing the manufacturing of the product according to the manufacturing resource plan and the production steps. A production control subsystem stores the identifier in a near field communication chip attachable to the product during the manufacturing to provide real-time tracking of the manufacturing throughout the steps. An empirical analysis subsystem connects to different social media applications to determine sentiment of the manufactured product.
Projects within a Process Control Asset Management System
An asset management system used in a process control plant or other control system includes a database that stores asset data for each of a plurality of devices within the plant and a viewing system that accesses the asset data to provide statistical information to a user pertaining to the plant assets. The asset management system enables a user to define and store one or more projects within the plant and a set of plant assets associated with each of the projects. Thereafter, the asset management system performs statistical analyses on the assets within one or more of the defined projects and presents, to a user via a user interface, raw and statistical information pertaining to the assets within the project. The analysis engine may determine the device states or health statuses of the assets associated with the project and may present statistical and/or historical information regarding the number or percentage of assets within the project that are in a particular state or status. The system enables a user to use this information to determine the progress of or completion percentage of the entire project.
DATA-ANALYTIC APPROACH TO IDENTIFYING AND PRIORITIZING DELAY-CONTRIBUTING MANUFACTURING JOBS
According to an embodiment, a computer-implemented method of identifying delay causing product assembly jobs in a factory that produces multiple products includes acquiring delay times for each of a plurality of jobs performed for assembly of each of a plurality of products at the factory, ranking the jobs according to a number of products affected by delay times, whereby a ranked jobs list is produced, adjusting at least one of a delay threshold, a job rank threshold, or a number of products threshold until a plot of amount of products affected by a delay exceeding the delay threshold as a dependent variable, versus ranked jobs of the ranked jobs list as an independent variable, exceeds the number of products threshold at the job rank threshold, and outputting an initial segment of the ranked jobs list up to the job rank threshold.
Wafer scheduling method and wafer scheduling apparatus for etching equipment
The present application relates to the technical field of semiconductors, and in particular, to a wafer scheduling method and a wafer scheduling apparatus for an etching equipment. The wafer scheduling method includes: obtaining a wafer processing request, where the wafer processing request includes at least process information of wafers and an equipment processing parameter of the etching equipment; responding to the wafer processing request, and determining a wafer scheduling parameter corresponding to the process information and the equipment processing parameter, based on the process information, the equipment processing parameter, and a preset wafer scheduling policy, where the wafer scheduling parameter is used to determine a transfer time for transferring the wafers to the etching equipment for processing; and performing wafer scheduling processing on the wafers by using the wafer scheduling parameter. In this way, the wafer processing productivity of the etching equipment can be improved.
CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SCHEDULING AND MANAGING MANUFACTURING TASKS
A method for scheduling and managing tasks including the receipt of a request for a task list from one or more workstations, the determination of a task list based on one or more identifiers and product order specific information received from a scheduling system, updating the task list, and sending the updated task list to the one or more workstations.
