A sock and/or outer footwear having one or more portions with reduced frictional characteristics. One or more of the heel portion, the arch portion and the ball portion of the sock and/or interior of the outer footwear is fabricated with one or more fibers having the reduced frictional characteristics. The reduced frictional characteristics are established with the one or more low-friction fibers that are integrated with fibers having additional complementary characteristics of thermal regulation and moisture management. The provision of reduced frictional characteristics in one or more of the heel, arch and ball facilitates insertion of a foot into footwear.

The invention relates to a sock (10). The sock (10) has a sole part (100) which is suitable for covering the sole of a foot (1) when the sock (10) is being worn. Furthermore, a toe region (200) of the sock (10) is suitable, together with the sole part (100), for receiving the entire toe region of the foot (1) when the sock (10) is being worn. The sock (10) furthermore comprises an instep part (300) which is suitable for at least partially covering the arch of the foot (1) when the sock (10) is being worn. Described embodiments relate to a garment for a baby or infant, the garment comprising a neck opening; two enclosed arm portions configured to each receive an arm of a wearer of the garment, each arm portion sized to allow the wearer to straighten their arm within the arm portion; a waist portion being of a reduced width compared to the width of the garment across the arm portions; a single enclosed leg portion, the leg portion being wider than the waist portion and sized to accommodate two legs of the wearer; and at least one closure. The at least one closure allows for fastening and unfastening of the garment at the neck opening and, independently of the neck opening, at the leg portion

A stocking includes a stocking body having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the stocking body defines an opening at the proximal end. The stocking body defines a longitudinal axis. The stocking body also defines an anterior portion and a posterior portion. A first layer of sleeves is disposed on an exterior of the stocking body and includes a first sleeve coupled with the anterior portion and a second sleeve coupled with the posterior portion. The present invention provides a clothing apparatus that comprises a clothing member that includes a pair of leg portions, a body portion having multiple buttons and a vertical cut in the center of the body portion, a pair of opposing arm sleeves, and a pair of foot coverings. A vest that includes a crossover neck opening and armholes is attached inside the body portion and the neck binding.

A unified garment and method of use thereof are provided wherein the garment that includes a pair of adjustable panels that alternately enable (1.) covering a selected portion of skin of a wearer of the garment; and (2.) exposing the selected portion of the wearer's skin without requiring the wearer to disrobe from the garment. Each panel extends from a same inferior portion of the garment and are detachably attachable at respective attachment points to cause a tension to be imposed between each attachment point and the inferior portion. The garment may include a first pair of apertures adapted to each separately receive a wearer's arm and/or a second pair of apertures adapted to each separately receive a wearer's leg. The garment allows exposure of a wearer's skin to enable direct contact between the garment wearer and the skin of another person for the practice of skin to skin contact.

An article of clothing having a zipper attached or extending to the waistband on a front portion of to a rear portion of, wherein the zipper traverses a crotch of the pants and provides an opening in the pants. Internal to the clothing is a first panel, sewn on one side, and not connected on another, that covers the zipper when it is fully zipped, and provides freedom of movement. External to the clothing, when the zipper is zipped the zipper is hidden from view via an invisible zipper configuration. An oversized zipper pull is attached therewith.

A unitary sleeved partial undershirt may be configured to be worn as an outer garment or beneath an outer garment. The partial undershirt may include tubular first and second sleeves of at least 12 inches in length, each having tubular construction that is void of any fastener. The first and second sleeves may be sized to conform to contours of arms of the wearer along the lengths of the first and second sleeves. A garment with configurable shoulder sections is disclosed. The shoulder sections may generally be configured in at least an open configuration and a closed configuration. This may allow the garment to be placed on a person's body without having to manipulate the person's arms through the sleeves.

Aspects herein are directed to a sock having an integrally knit tab positioned between a collar of the sock and a heel of the sock, where the collar defines an opening for a wearer's foot. The base of the tab is integrally knit with a reciprocally knit section to reinforce the structural integrity of the tab, which may be used to assist the wearer in donning and/or doffing the sock by acting as the primary structure by which the wearer pulls the sock around the wearer's foot when donning the sock.
