WOUND CLOSURE DEVICE WITH WIDE SPACED MICROSTRUCTURES
A wound closure device comprises a backing comprising a width configured to extend along at least a portion of a wound from a first end to a second end and a length configured to extend transversely across the wound, an adhesive layer coupled to the backing, a first micro-structure array attached to the backing proximate the first end, the first micro-structure array configured to extend transversely across the wound, a second micro-structure array attached to the backing proximate the second end, the second micro-structure array configured to extend transversely across the wound, and an elongate wound closure space between the first and second micro-structure arrays.
Tissue anchor
The present invention provides a tissue anchor and a system and method employing same, the anchors including a body having a first section and a second section reversibly engagable with one another, each section including a plurality of barbs in the form of microneedles projecting from the underside therefore, the barbs on one section being inclined towards barbs on the other section, such that tissue may be captured and deformed between the barbs through displacement of the first section relative to the second section in order to achieve robust retention of the tissue anchor at a deployment site.
WOUND CLOSURE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A device includes a housing, a tissue engager, and a closing mechanism. The housing can be placed over a wound, and the tissue engager can engage a portion of tissue proximate the wound. The closing mechanism is coupled to the housing and the tissue engager and can move the tissue engager from an open position to a closed position to close the wound.
Closure device
A closure device 100 that closes a wound on a skin includes a pair of sheet members 41a, 41b that have an axial direction da and a width direction db orthogonal to the axial direction da and face each other with a space 41s provided in the width direction db, and a plurality of closure elements 2a, 2b that are attached to the pair of sheet members 41a, 41b across the space 41s and arranged in the axial direction da. The closure element 2a, 2b respectively include bases 10a, 10b and adjusters 30a, 30b that are arranged on the pair of sheet members 41a, 41b to face each other across the space 41s, and drawstrings 20a, 20b that extend from the bases 10a, 10b and engage with the adjusters 30a, 30b. The pair of sheet members 41a, 41b include a plurality of slits 51, 52 provided in a plurality of areas, each of the plurality of areas being provided between pairs of the closure elements 2a, 2b adjacent to each other.
WOUND CLOSURE APPARATUS
A wound closure apparatus pertaining to the field of skin wound sutures, comprising a window body, zippers, and fixators. The window body comprises a body wall and top wall. The zippers are set at both sides of the window body. One end of the zippers are connected to the fixators, and the other end are connected to the window body. fixed adhesive layers are set on the bottom surface of the fixators facing the skin. The wound closure apparatus enables functional modules necessary for wound treatment to reliably, continuously, and directly act on the treatment area, effectively preventing exudate accumulation from causing the suture device to fall off the wound, secondary infection, suture failure, or staggered malunion, allowing for better physiological regeneration and healing.
SKIN WOUND CLOSING APPARATUS
The invention provided with a skin wound closing apparatus which belongs to medical equipment. The skin wound closing apparatus provided in this invention includes: a pair of adhesive sheets, at least a pair of threading components, at least a pull string, at least a pull component and pull string locking component. The skin wound closing apparatus provided in this invention includes a pair of adhesive sheets which are stick to the skin of the two sides of the wound, at least a pair of threading components positioned on the adhesive sheet and pull string which is set to thread between the threading cubes therefore the operator can close the wound simply by pulling the pull string, so it has the advantages of convenient operation and quick use. The skin wound closing apparatus also includes the pull components, so it can indicate the specific part of the pull string that the user needs to pull when closing the wound, which is convenient to use, thereby obtaining the best wound closure effect. The skin wound closing apparatus also includes a pull string locking component, so it can lock the part of the pull string pulled out by the pull component, so that the wound can be closed firmly.
Means to prevent wound dressings from adhering to closure device
A wound dressing for use with a closure device is disclosed. The first and second base panels of the closure device are positioned on opposite lateral sides of a wound or incision. The base panels are coupled together to maintain wound or incision closure. A release liner is removed from a bottom surface of the wound dressing. The wound dressing is positioned over the closure device and the wound or incision. Exudate is absorbed by an absorbent material of the wound dressing through a porous strip of the wound dressing. The wound dressing is slightly larger than the closure device so that its perimeter area is adhered to the skin area around the closure device. Alternatively or in combination, the wound dressing is lightly adhered to the closure device and wound or incision area so that it can be removed without harming the underlying device and tissues.
Closure Apparatuses and Methods for Ulcers and Irregular Skin Defects
Devices, methods, and systems for treating an ulcer or skin defect are disclosed. First and second base panels of a closure device are adhered to first and second sides of the ulcer or skin defect, respectively. Lateral ties couple the first and second base panels together and provide a predetermined separation distance or lateral gap between the inner edges of the panel. The predetermined separation distance or lateral gap is sufficient to treat the most common sized ulcers or skin defects, for example, accommodating an ulcer or skin defect with a minor axis of at most 50 mm. The lateral ties have their ends fixed to one panel and their opposite ends adjustably and reversibly attached to the other panel so that the separation distance can be reduced or adjusted to provide a lateral compressive force to the ulcer or skin defect, thereby promoting healing.
WOUND CLOSURE DEVICE
A device and method for closing a wound is provided. The device includes an anchoring pad having a bottom surface and an opposing top surface, such that the bottom surface is configured to adhere to a first side of the wound; a complementary pad having a bottom surface and an opposing top surface, such that the bottom surface is configured to adhere to a second side of the wound; and a pull tab having a bottom surface and an opposing top surface, such that the top surface is configured to adhere to the complementary pad and/or the second side of the wound, and the pull tab is coupled to the complementary pad by at least one connecting strap that is slidably connected to the anchoring pad.
INSTRUMENTED WOUND CLOSURE DEVICE
A wound or incision closure apparatus comprises a first and second panel. Each of the panels comprises a bottom adhesive layer, a medial substrate layer, and an upper load distribution layer which connect the two panels. A sensory or therapeutic element is disposed adjacent, within, or between two or more of the layers. The sensory or therapeutic element can provide sensing and/or therapy for the incision and/or monitor the incision so that the therapy can be customized and updated.
