VASO-OCCLUSIVE DEVICES AND METHODS OF USE

Vaso-occlusive apparatuses, including implants, and methods of using them to treat aneurysms. For example, described herein are expandable vaso-occlusive implants that include one or more soft and expandable braided member coupled to a pushable member such as a coil that maybe inserted and retrieved from within an aneurism using a delivery catheter. In particular, the expandable implants described herein are configured to allow relatively soft and elongate implants to be pushed out of a cannula without binding up within the cannula.

INTRODUCER FOR UTERINE TAMPONADE ASSEMBLY WITH ECHOGENIC ELEMENT AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

A device for use with a uterine tamponade balloon catheter apparatus, such as the Bakri postpartum hemorrhage balloon, is disclosed. The device comprises a stylet comprising a hub at its proximal end and an atraumatic tip at its distal end. The device is configured to be removably coupled to the tamponade balloon catheter apparatus to aid in the insertion and positioning of the tamponade balloon catheter within the uterine cavity, allowing the balloon to function as intended for the control and management of postpartum hemorrhage and uterine bleeding. The tamponade balloon catheter includes an echogenic element to aid in visualization by ultrasound during insertion and use. Methods of use of the device are also disclosed.

Guide catheter and method of use

A system for manipulating a guide catheter within a patient's nasal passages or sinus cavities includes a guide catheter formed from an elongate flexible member having a lumen passing there through. A wire guide is slidably disposed within the lumen of the guide catheter. The system further includes a steering member fixedly secured to a proximal end of the wire guide and a proximal hub secured to a proximal end of the guide catheter. The system further includes a recessed handle having a first recess for fixedly receiving the proximal hub of the guide catheter and a second recess for receiving the steering member, the second recess being dimensioned to permit axial and rotational movement of the steering member while disposed in the second recess.

Method of endovascular intervention in neurovascular anatomy of a patient including deploying an anchor of a tethering device in an anchoring vessel of a neurovascular anatomy, the anchor coupled to a tether extending proximally from the anchor. Method includes advancing a guide-sheath over the tether of the tethering device anchored in the anchoring vessel and attached to the tether, the guide-sheath includes at least one lumen and a distal opening from the lumen. Method includes advancing a treatment device through the lumen of the guide-sheath and out the distal opening from the at least one lumen and through an entrance of a target intracranial vessel, and deploying the treatment device at a treatment site within the target intracranial vessel without a combined therapy of two or more anti-platelet therapeutic agents during a peri-procedural period. Related systems, devices, and methods are disclosed.

Left atrial appendage closure

A left atrium appendage (LAA) isolator, including: a body sized and shaped to fit an at least partially inverted LAA of a human adult, wherein a distal end of said body defines a two-state sealing adaptor interface configured in a first state to apply a radially outward force against a wall of said LAA or against a wall of said LAA opening sufficient to anchor said body to the LAA wall, and in a second state the sealing adaptor interface is configured to apply a radially inward force on a portion of the inverted LAA positioned within said body.

INJECTOR DEVICES FOR DELIVERING MATERIAL TO VASCULAR DEFECTS AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Systems, methods, and devices for treating vascular defects are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a method of treating an aneurysm includes positioning a distal portion of an elongated member near or within an aneurysm. The method can include introducing an embolic composition into a lumen of the elongated member using an injector device coupled to a proximal portion of the elongated member. The injector device can pressurize the embolic composition to a pressure of at least 10,000 psi. The method can also include delivering the embolic composition into the aneurysm via the elongated member.

Occlusive devices

A system for treatment of an aneurysm includes an intrasaccular device that can be delivered using a catheter.
