OVER THE SCOPE CLIP WITH REPOSITIONAL CAPABILITY

A clipping system includes a cap configured to be mounted over a distal end of an endoscope. A clip mountable over the cap to move between an insertion configuration, in which first and second jaws extend over opposing portions of the cap so that the first and second jaws are separated from one another, a review configuration, in which the clip is moved distally relative to the cap so that a portion of the clip extends distally until at least a portion of the clip extends into a field of view of the optical system of an endoscope on which the cap is mounted, and a deployed configuration in which the clip is moved distally off of the clip so that the first and second jaws are drawn toward one another under the bias of the at least one hinge to close over tissue received therebetween.

A clipping system for treating tissue including an adapter, a clip, an extending member and a control wire. The adapter couplable to an insertion device via steering members. The steering members extend alongside the insertion device and connect to the adapter to steer the adapter between a first position and a second position. The clip mounted over the adapter. The clip includes first and second jaws connected to one another and movable between an insertion configuration and an initial deployed configuration. The extending member slidably received within one of the steering members. The control wire slidably received within the extending member and extends through the first jaw such that simultaneous longitudinal movement of the control wire and the extending member relative to the adapter moves the clip between the insertion configuration, the initial deployed configuration, and a review configuration in which the clip is separated from the adapter.

A tissue ligation assembly may include a surgical clip and a clip applier. The clip applier may include a first jaw member and a second jaw member for closing and/or latching the surgical clip onto tissue. The surgical clip may be loaded in the clip applier and include first and second leg members for ligating tissue. The first leg member may include a first proximal portion, a first distal portion, a first inner surface, and a first outer surface. The first outer surface may engage and/or be received in the first jaw member of the clip applier. The second leg member may include a second proximal portion, a second distal portion, a second inner surface, a second outer surface, an inner portion, and an outer portion. The second outer surface may engage and/or be received in the second jaw member of the clip applier.

Suture cinching device with cutter

Medical devices for cinch and cutting one or more suture, and methods for making and using such devices are disclosed. An example medical device may include a coupler, a sleeve releasably coupled to the coupler, a cutter slidably disposed within the sleeve, and a suture cinching member movable into and out of the sleeve. A wire may extend through and be longitudinally movable within the coupler to move the suture cinching member and cutter.

A ligation clip includes a frame defining a cavity, a flexible band that is pivotably supported on one end of the frame, and a spring beam supported on the other end of the frame in cantilevered fashion. The flexible band is movable in relation to the frame from an open position to a clamped position to clamp tissue between the flexible band and the spring beam.

Through the scope tension member release clip

An apparatus for deployment of a hemostatic clip includes a handle assembly, a shaft connected to a distal portion thereof and a clip assembly releasably coupled to a distal portion of the shaft. The clip assembly includes clip arms and a capsule cooperating with the clip arms to provide a first user feedback indicating a decision configuration of the clip assembly. In addition, the apparatus includes a control wire including a ball connector, the control wire extending from the handle assembly and coupled to the clip assembly by the ball connector to maintain the clip assembly coupled to the shaft, wherein the ball connector is detachable from the clip assembly to provide a second user feedback indicating separation of the clip assembly.

Reloadable clip with a flaring capsule deformation

A clipping system includes a clip having a pair of clip arms, proximal ends of the clip arms slidably received within a channel of a capsule to be moved between an open configuration and a closed configuration. A proximal end of the capsule including connecting tabs extending proximally therefrom. An applicator includes an elongated flexible member and a control member extending therethrough. The control member includes a distal end connected to the clip arms to move the clip assembly between the open and closed configurations. A distal end of the elongated flexible member includes a bushing including a first ramped surface, along which the connecting tabs slide along to engage a corresponding engaging feature of the bushing, and a second ramped surface proximal of the first ramped surface, the connecting tabs slidable along the second ramped surface to plastically deform toward a deployed configuration.

Percutaneous clip for repairing a heart valve

Valve repair systems and clips for attachment to one or more leaflets of a heart valve. The clip can include an elongated member configured to be positioned between two leaflets of the heart valve. The elongated member can have a first portion and a second portion that extends from the first portion. A width of the second portion can be greater than the width of the first portion. A pair of arms can be coupled to the first portion and extend toward the second portion. The pair of arms can extend radially away from the elongated member as the pair of arms extend away from the first portion toward the second portion when the arms are in an open position. And the pair of arms can be moveable from the open position to a closed position to pinch each leaflet between one of the arms and the elongated member.

Non-shedding coupling method and system for reloadable hemostasis clip

A device for treating tissue includes a clip including clip arms and a coupler. Each of the clip arms extends from a proximal end to a distal end. Proximal ends of the clip arms are slidably received within a channel of a capsule. A proximal end of the capsule includes openings extending through a wall. The coupler is mounted over the proximal end of the capsule via deployment arms including engaging features extending laterally inward from an interior surface thereof to engage the openings of the capsule. The coupler includes retention arms configured to engage a corresponding portion of an applicator. When a pre-determined compressive force is applied to the coupler, the deployment arms are proximally slidable along the corresponding portion of the applicator to deflect the deployment arms out of engagement with the capsule so that the coupler is separable from the capsule.

Tissue clip application fitting/retrofitting set

A tissue clip application fitting set or retrofitting set includes a cap attachment for placement on the distal head of a medical endoscope, which has a placement section and a tissue clip holding section. The cap attachment is notched at least at two angular positions forming at least two notches/slots/grooves. A working channel leads into the hollow chamber and exits the hollow chamber radially in a region distal to the placement section and proximal to the radially supported tissue clip. A first guiding or leading element is arranged after the working channel belonging to the retrofitting set, as seen in the distal direction. A corresponding second guiding or leading element is arranged within the hollow chamber at an angular distance from the first guiding or leading element so as to be oriented in extension to a working channel belonging to the endoscope.
