A surgical template system for use in working on a bone comprises: a tool guide block comprising at least one guide aperture for receiving and guiding a tool to work on a bone; locating means comprising a plurality of locating members, each member having a respective end surface for positioning against a surface of the bone; and attachment means for non-adjustably attaching the tool guide block to the locating means such that, when attached, the member end surfaces are secured in fixed position with, respect to each other, for engaging different respective portions of the surface of the bone, and the at least one guide aperture is secured in a fixed position with respect to the end surfaces. Corresponding methods of manufacturing a surgical template system, methods of manufacturing locating means for a surgical template system, methods of fitting a prosthesis to a bone, surgical methods, and surgical apparatus are described.

VERIFICATION METHOD OF OSTEOTOMY GUIDE TOOL, VERIFICATION SYSTEM AND DETECTION ELEMENT
A detection element and a verification system are disclosed. The detection element includes a detection end for contacting a feature portion of the osteotomy guide tool; and a positioning target connected to the detection end and configured to provide a pose parameter of the feature portion of the osteotomy guide tool in a coordinate system of a trackable element. With this configuration, the osteotomy guide tool can be verified to avoid deformation of the osteotomy guide tool during repeated use or transportation, affecting its positioning accuracy and affecting the operation.

Method for forming a patient specific surgical guide mount
A method includes mapping a contoured surface of at least one bone onto a digital model of a resection guide locator using a processor to create a digital model of a customized resection guide locator and manufacturing the customized resection guide locator. The customized resection guide locator includes a complementary surface of the at least one bone and a wall having a shape that is complementary to an outer profile of a resection guide and defining a pocket. A first elongate slot and at least one first hole are positioned within the pocket such that the first elongate slot aligns with a second elongate slot defined by the resection guide and the at least one first hole aligns with at least one second hole defined by the resection guide when the resection guide is received within the pocket of the customized resection guide locator.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR PERFORMING KNEE ARTHROPLASTY
Methods and devices for performing knee arthroplasty including but not limited to bicruciate retaining knee arthroplasty are provided. Methods and devices for preparing a proximal tibia for a tibial implant are also provided. These methods and devices, in at least some embodiments and uses, facilitate decreasing the complexity of knee arthroplasty procedures such as bicruciate retaining procedures while maintaining, if not improving on, the safety, accuracy and/or effectiveness of such procedures.
Verification method of osteotomy guide tool, verification system and detection element
A verification method of an osteotomy guide tool, a verification system and a detection element are disclosed. The verification method includes obtaining a pose parameter of a feature portion of an osteotomy guide tool in a coordinate system of a trackable element; then comparing the obtained pose parameter of the feature portion of the osteotomy guide tool with a corresponding standard value to obtain an offset between the pose parameter of the feature portion of the osteotomy guide tool and the standard value; if the offset is greater than an expected value, the osteotomy guide tool is determined as deformed. With this configuration, the osteotomy guide tool can be verified to avoid deformation of the osteotomy guide tool during repeated use or transportation, affecting its positioning accuracy and affecting the operation.
CUTTING GUIDE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Cutting guide systems for adjusting and stabilizing cutting devices are disclosed. Example cutting guide systems may be used in orthopedic surgery. In some examples, a cutting guide system comprises a support mount, a joint, and a cutting instrument support, wherein the joint permits the cutting instrument support to be adjusted with respect to the support mount. The joint may permit the cutting instrument support to be rotated about at least two axes. The joint may be lockable to hold the position of the cutting instrument support. A cutting instrument may be pivotable and/or movable in a longitudinal direction with respect to the cutting instrument support. In some examples, a cutting guide system comprises a track, wherein a cutting instrument support is connected to the track in a manner that permits the cutting instrument support to move along a path. Methods of using cutting guide systems are also disclosed.
