SOLED SOCK WITH NON-SKID BOTTOM
Soled socks with non-skid bottom which are formed by placing a sole of woven or non-woven fabric material onto the soft plastic material.
Construction of a Gripping Fabric
A gripping fabric and method for construction thereof is provided. A fabric structure that defines an inner surface and an outer surface is created. The fabric structure or the gripping fabric is configured to conform to a user's body part for constructing a garment, for example, a sock. The inner surface is proximal to a user contact surface and distal to an external contact surface. The outer surface is proximal to the external contact surface and distal to the user contact surface. A gripping material is selectively applied on the inner surface and/or the outer surface of the fabric structure. The gripping material on the inner surface and the outer surface of the fabric structure adheres to the user contact surface and the external contact surface respectively, thereby providing grip between the user contact surface and the fabric structure, and grip between the fabric structure and the external contact surface.
Shirt retaining waistband for undergarment
An undergarment for inhibiting unwanted movement of a shirt during wear can include a body, a torso opening, and a waistband. The body can have an interior side and an exterior side. The torso opening can be defined at a top of the body and a pair of leg openings can be defined at a bottom of the body. The waistband can extend along a circumference of the top. The waistband can include an exterior surface at least partially covered with a garment movement-inhibiting material configured to prevent sliding movement of a shirt across the exterior surface. The waistband can also include an interior surface at least partially covered with a garment non-inhibiting material. The waistband can be circumferentially foldable towards the bottom to selectively expose one of the garment movement-inhibiting material and the garment non-inhibiting material.
Apparel with grip elements
A garment that includes one or more grip elements is disclosed. The grip elements, as disposed on a garment, may enable enhanced frictional forces between the garment and an object, such as exercise equipment, with which the garment may make contact. The grip elements may be composite structures disposed on one or more surfaces of the garment and may include an elastomeric and/or rubbery material with grit materials, such as sand, alumina, silicon carbide, or the like, embedded therein. The grit material may be at least partially exposed at the surface of the grip elements and may enhance gripping forces when the grip elements are wet, such as with sweat, compared to grip elements formed by only elastomeric materials. Grip elements may be formed on various portions of a garment separately and then those portions may be attached to each other to form the garment with grip elements.
BRIEFS FOR MALE WEARERS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A method for manufacturing a brief includes use of a first stretchable fabric and a second stretchable fabric adherable to the first stretchable fabric. The second stretchable fabric defines a gluteal portion. The second stretchable fabric is placed between a core, having a buttocks profile, and a cavity of a die assembly. The core pushes a section of the gluteal portion into the cavity. Heat and pressure are applied at the section to cause a volume of a synthetic compound of the section to melt while retaining the section in the stretched state. The section is cooled such that a melted volume of the synthetic compound is infused into a remainder of the section and solidified therewithin to cause the section to acquire a shape as that acquired in the stretched state and form a molded sac configured to accommodate and conform to buttocks of a wearer.
ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
The present disclosure relates to an article of footwear, such as a sock or a calf sleeve, in particular a sock or a calf sleeve used for playing soccer, the article of footwear configured to be worn by a foot of a user and then to be received in a shoe, the article of footwear comprising: an inside shoe portion and an outside shoe portion; wherein the outside shoe portion comprises a control element; wherein the control element is configured to assist with shooting and/or passing and/or receiving a ball and further configured to reinforce an ankle portion of the article of footwear.
Waistband with patterned gripping members
New garment-fastening techniques are provided. In some embodiments, a new form of garment enhancement device is provided, including a waistband, wristband or other body-holding band including a plurality of alignment- and grip-enhancing sub-elements, located on or about an inward-facing side of the waistband, wristband or other body-holding band. In some such embodiments, the alignment- and grip-enhancing sub-elements are at least partially located within a channel. In some embodiments, the alignment- and grip-enhancing sub-elements are uniquely shaped and spaced in a pattern provided on or about such a band, which unique shape and spacing improves garment positioning during sleep, and provides a non-stick hold on a user's body. In some embodiments, such a pattern may also form a written message or indicator (e.g., product branding), viewable by a user. In some embodiments, said grip-enhancing sub-elements include a plurality of grip-enhancing sub-components, substantially forming a shape of the grip-enhancing sub-elements.
