The invention relates to a collar (11) of a knitted garment, in particular a polo, comprising a first flexible knitted portion (31) comprising a substantially curve shaped outer longitudinal end (312); a second structured stitch rigid knitted portion (32), distinct from the first portion (31) and constituting the collar stand, comprising a substantially curve shaped outer longitudinal end (314), this second portion (32) being linked to the first portion (31); and a substantially curved longitudinal fold axis (33) of the first portion (31), so that this first portion (31) is folded along the longitudinal fold axis (33) to cover a portion of the first portion (31) and the entirety of the second portion (32). This collar (11) further defines a height H1 between each outer longitudinal end (312, 314) at its central portion and a height H2 at both of its two lateral ends (313), with H1 equal to or larger than H2. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such a collar (11). The invention also relates to a garment comprising such a collar (11).

EASILY SETTABLE STRETCH FABRICS INCLUDING LOW-MELT FIBER

The present invention provides an easy settable stretch fabric comprising three types of yarns: a rigid fiber, an elastic fiber, and a low-melt fiber, wherein the low-melt fiber comprises low-melt polymer which can be fused in the temperature between 60? C. to 200? C., being higher than the temperature used for normal textile process and household laundry, but lower than the temperature used for heat setting elastic fiber. The low-melt fiber can be selected from a group of fibers made from modified polyester, nylon, and polypropylene and the copolymer from them in the form of staple or filament.

Expansion Sock

An expansion sock includes one or more expansion zones formed of a different type of knitted fabric than adjacent zones. The expansion zones permit the sock to be used on a person's bandaged foot because the bandaged portions of the foot can be accommodated without either increased pressure on the bandages while minimizing excess, bunched material adjacent thereto.

CUSTOM-FIT SOCK AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME

A custom-fit sock is described. The sock includes a tubular body formed from a number of courses and wales. The tubular body includes a foot portion and a leg portion merging substantially at the ankle of a wearer. The foot portion defines a foot bottom portion and an upper instep portion and further includes a heel portion positioned adjacent the foot bottom portion at a first end of the foot portion and a toe portion positioned adjacent the foot bottom portion at a second end of the foot portion. A first course includes a first number of stitches formed using a first number of selected needles of the circular knitting machine. The first number of selected needles is less than a total number of needles of the circular knitting machine.

FUNCTIONAL REGENERATED CELLULOSE FIBERS

Fabrics comprising regenerated cellulose fibers and a nanoparticle dispersed throughout the fabric are disclosed herein. The regenerated cellulose fibers can be derived from a biomass such as a fibrous cellulose, wood pulp, cotton, paper, bast fiber, bagasse, or a combination thereof. The nanoparticle included in the fabric can be chosen to confer a desirable property, such as a thermal insulating property, to the fabric. Methods of making the fabrics comprising the regenerated cellulose fibers and nanoparticle are also provided. The method can include (a) at least partially dissolving a cellulose substrate in a medium comprising one or more ionic liquids; and dissolving or suspending a nanoparticle in the medium; (b) recovering a solid nanoparticle-modified regenerated cellulose material comprising the cellulose substrate and the nanoparticle; and (c) processing the solid nanoparticle-modified regenerated cellulose material to form the fabric.

FLOATING DARTS FOR SHAPEWEAR

Shapewear enhances the appearance of areas of a wearer's body, including the abdominal region. Typical shapewear that targets the abdominal area is often uncomfortable, because it uses methods to provide additional control to the area that also decrease the flexibility of the fabric. The shapewear garment disclosed herein includes a region configured to cover the abdominal region of a wearer. The abdominal region of the shapewear garment includes at least one dart provided in the fabric. The fabric of the shapewear garment is a high-elasticity fabric containing from about 20% to about 60% elastane. The darts in the abdominal region increase the control in the targeted abdominal area without significantly decreasing the flexibility and comfort of the high-elasticity fabric.

Recovery tight with preconfigured compression zones and integrated structure patterns

A recovery tight having preconfigured compression zones with integrated knit structures is provided herein. The compression zones may have differing compressive properties where zones having a higher compression force are located at the calf and ankle areas of the tight, zones having the next highest compression force are located over the knee and lower thigh areas of the tight, and zones having the lowest compression force are located over the upper thigh and lower torso areas of the tight when the tight is worn. The integrated knit structures modify the compressive properties of the zones in the areas where the structures are located in order to further customize the compressive properties of the recovery tight.

BREATHABLE UNDERGARMENT
