The legwear portion comprises an upper portion, two leg portions, and a transition between the two leg portions where the two leg portions meet. The legwear portion comprises a higher density area at the transition. The higher density area transitions to the upper portion using circular knitting without a gather stitch. The gussetless dance tight also comprises a waistband coupled to the upper portion.
Therapeutic vessel, related footwear, and method of manufacture and use
Described is an article of footwear (e.g. a sock or shoe liner) or a therapeutic vessel which includes fabric having therapeutic spheres, or spherical-type dimensional objects, disposed therein. The therapeutic spheres are positioned in the fabric such that when the fabric is placed on (or otherwise placed in contact with) a foot, the variable positioning spheres, which may be of varied diameters, align with and contact desired compression areas on the sole of the foot.
ATHLETIC SOCK
Aspects herein are directed to a knit sock having a leg portion and an integrally knit ankle welt extending around a circumference of the leg portion and positioned at a lower end of the leg portion. The knit sock further includes an integrally knit tab located at a back aspect of the ankle welt.
KNIT ARTICLE WITH VARIABLE FEATURES
Aspects herein are directed to a knit structure used to form a knit article where the knit structure can be adjusted to provide zoned cushioning, zoned insulation, zoned fit, zoned permeability/breathability features, and/or zoned tactile feedback features. The knit structure has a repeating pattern of a first number of knit courses having a first yarn knit with a first basic knit stitch and a second number of knit courses, where within each knit course of the second number of knit courses, the first yarn is knit in a repeating pattern having a first number of knit stitches knit with a second basic knit stitch and a second number of float stitches knit with a float stitch to form float areas.
UPPER BODY GARMENT WITH WOVEN TUBULAR SHOULDER STRAPS
The upper body garments disclosed herein include shoulder straps formed of a woven tubular material flattened into a double-ply fabric. The woven tubular shoulder straps have advantageously high recovery. The upper body garments also include a torso-encircling main body portion with a breast supporting region coupled to a body strap. The body strap is formed of a circular knit, tubular material flattened into double-ply fabric. The woven tubular shoulder straps are coupled to the circular knit, tubular body strap. In some embodiments, the weft yarn of the woven tubular shoulder straps can have different material properties than the warp yarn of the woven tubular shoulder straps. Methods of making the upper body garments are also disclosed herein.
CUSTOMIZED KNITTED WEARABLE WITH REACTIVE MATERIAL FOR RIGIDITY
One embodiment relates to an orthopedic precast comprises a knitted shell portion and a knitted flexible portion. Heat or other hardening agent is used to harden the shell portion, while retaining flexibility in the flexible portion. Contemplated hardening agents include light, heat, and chemical polymerizing agents. In some embodiments the shell portion includes thermoplastic threads or yarns, which is then hardened by heating the thermoplastic sufficiently to at least partially melt, and thereby fuse together some of the threads or yarns, and then cooling to ambient temperature for enhanced rigidity. In other embodiments, the precast is contained in a bag or other airtight container, along with a self-heating composition that is triggered to release heat upon contact with oxygen. In still other embodiments, the precast includes a prepolymer of other polymerizable composition, which is polymerized by effective application of light, heat, and/or chemical agent(s) or deployed as a wearable.
UPPER-TORSO GARMENT WITH TUBULAR-JACQUARD KNIT STRUCTURE
An upper-torso garment includes a tubular-jacquard knit structure within a chest-covering portion. The tubular-jacquard knit structure includes interlocked courses formed by each front-stitch course intermittently interlocking with a back-stitch course. The tubular-jacquard knit structure is divided into a plurality of zones across the chest-covering portion that may vary based on how front-stitch courses interlock with back-stitch courses.
Grip enhancement and protection for the feet
This document presents a footwear article that covers the foot and ankle of the wearer. The footwear object protects the wearer's feet and ankle while improving blood circulation, and supporting the toes, arches, and ankles of the wearer. The footwear object is manufactured of layered fabrics that are knitted and/or woven from both man-made and natural fibers. The footwear object has portions providing compression, padding, and grip to provide support and prevent injury to the wearer's feet and ankles.
Method for producing a knitted part having a coating thereon
A method for producing a knitted fabric part which is knitted from at least one thread and which in one or a plurality of regions on the knitted fabric external side and/or the knitted fabric internal side is equipped with a coating, wherein, for configuring the coating, a material comprising free-flowing particles is applied in the region to the knitted fabric, said material subsequently being melted or fused by heating, whereupon the material is cooled while forming the coating.
Swaddling garment
