An orthopedic tool includes a main body and a reference member. The reference member may be configured to engage an anatomical feature of a patient, such as the patient's bone. The angle of the reference member may be adjusted using a knob.

System and Method for Performing an Arthroplasty Procedure on a Patient Bone

A method and system for performing a total joint arthroplasty procedure on a patient's damaged bone region. A CT image or other suitable image is formed of the damaged bone surfaces, and location coordinate values (x.sub.n,y.sub.n,z.sub.n) are determined for a selected sequence of bone surface locations using the CT image data. A mathematical model z=f(x,y) of a surface that accurately matches the bone surface coordinates at the selected bone slice locations, or matches surface normal vector components at selected bone surface locations, is determined. The model provides a production file from which a cutting jig and an implant device (optional), each patient-specific and having controllable alignment, are fabricated for the damaged bone by automated processing.

Multi-axis adjustable splint
09539030 · 2017-01-10 · ·

A multi-axis adjustable splint for treating the fracture of bones includes a rail body that has a longitudinal axis. The splint further includes a fixed clamp assembly coupled to the rail body for securing at least one first bone screw in a first desired orientation. The fixed clamp assembly is translationally fixed relative to the rail body. The adjustable splint further includes a movable clamp assembly movably coupled to the rail body for securing at least one second bone screw in a second desired orientation. The movable clamp assembly is translatable along the longitudinal axis of the rail body. Both the fixed clamp assembly and the movable clamp assembly are each independently adjustable about three axes of rotation relative to the rail body.

HAIR PRESERVING SURGICAL DEVICE
20250152291 · 2025-05-15 ·

A hair preservation surgical device configured to form and at least partially maintain a part or separation among a plurality of hair strands of a patient. A plurality of hair engagement bodies of the device can engage and pull a portion of the plurality of hair strands via displacement of the surgical device, including displacement resulting from deformation of the device, to at least assist in retaining the engaged hair strands away from the part. The surgical device can further be displaced such that an access aperture of the device is positioned over the part. The access aperture can extend through the surgical device and provide a location for performances of surgical procedures at, and through, the location of the part. Attachment mechanisms can be used to engage one or more anchors of the device to selectively secure the device to the patient, including to the scalp of the patient.

Drill Guides For Bone Plates

The present disclosure is directed to drill guides that provide for better cooperation with plate holes. The drill guides according to the present disclosure cooperate with plate holes in a manner that prevents both rotational and translational movement between the components. In certain aspects, the guides can be designed to permit a drill to be placed over a range of angles, while in other aspects, the drill angle can be fixed.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SHORTENING A BONE
20250302492 · 2025-10-02 ·

A method and a guide system for performing a bone osteotomy. The guide system has a block defining first and second edges each for guiding a cutting component. The block and a cooperating base each is configured to be releasably fixed in an operative position relative to a bone. The block has a connector that cooperates with a connector on the base to guide relative movement of the base and block substantially along a first line. Separation of a bone fragment formed using the guided cutting component produces a gap of a first width between facing surfaces on relatively movable bone parts, with the base and block fixed one each thereto. The block and base are configured so that with the bone fragment separated, the block and base can be guidingly relatively moved to thereby: a) reduce the width of the gap from the first width; b) move the facing surfaces towards each other; and c) place the bone parts in a desired relationship. The bone parts can be fixed to each other in different manners to maintain the desired relationship.

BONE SEGMENT TRANSLATION SYSTEM

A bone segment translation system comprises an external fixation element, a first block fixed to the external fixation element, a second block movably coupled to the first block, and a plurality of pins coupled to the second block. The plurality of pins are configured to be affixed to a bone segment of a bone of a subject.

Circular fixator system and method

A device includes a plurality of rings. Each ring has a first face, a second face, and at least one slot defined by first and second interior edges of the ring on opposing sides of the slot. The at least one slot penetrates from the first face to the second face. The first face of each ring has a first recess adjacent the slot on the first edge and a second recess adjacent the slot on the second edge. A plurality of posts join each one of the plurality of rings to an adjacent one of the plurality of rings.

SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR BONE TRANSPORT

A system for bone transport is provided, the system comprising: an adjustable length implant configured for intramedullary placement and comprising a first end configured to be coupled to bone and a second end configured to be coupled to bone, wherein the first end and the second end are displaceable relative to each other along a longitudinal axis; and a driving element configured to be non-invasively activated to displace the first and second ends relative to one another along the longitudinal axis; and a support member having distal and proximal ends, wherein the support member includes a longitudinally extending slot disposed between the distal and proximal ends of the support member, the slot having opposing ends, wherein the slot is configured to pass an elongate anchor such that the elongate anchor is slidable between the first end and the second end of the slot.
