Syndesmotic reconstruction guide assembly
A syndesmotic reconstruction guide assembly is disclosed. The syndesmotic reconstruction guide assembly includes a medial arm, a medial foot, and a lateral arm. The medial foot is rotatably connected to the medial arm with at least one degree of freedom. The lateral arm is slidably connected to the medial arm at an end opposite the medial foot. The lateral arm includes a lateral foot. The medial foot and the lateral foot are adapted to clamp bones of a syndesmotic joint therebetween.
RETRO GUIDEWIRE REAMER
Retro guidewire reamers include a drill having a tubular shaft configured to be disposed over a guidewire and at least one cutting member movably disposed adjacent the distal end of the shaft. A slide actuator is moveably coupled to the shaft and to an actuator wire slidable along the shaft. The actuator wire is operative to move the at least one cutting member between a closed position and a deployed position when the slide actuator is moved along the shaft. The retro guidewire reamers include mechanisms to protect the mechanical joint between the actuator wire and the slide actuator which prevent the actuator wire from disengaging from the slide actuator when the cutting member is obstructed by a guidewire.
System and method for load balancing in knee replacement procedures
The present disclosure relates to a system and method of knee ligament balancing for knee replacement procedures. The disclosure provides a system of components to implant to achieve ligament balancing. In addition, instruments and methods are provided to achieve the desired balance of the ligaments before final fixation.
Glenoid anchor guide
A guide provides for placing a suture anchor into an outer rim of a glenoid cavity of a patient adjacent an edge of a glenoid labrum. The guide comprises an elongated guide tube having an axial lumen with a distal opening a rim engagement member pivotally attached to the elongated tube adjacent the distal opening. The rim engagement member has a first contact surface and a second contact surface each of which are distal of the guide tube and are separated from each other and disposed on opposite lateral sides of the guide tube whereby to allow placement of the contact member over the glenoid rim, with subsequent angular positioning of the guide tube and passage of an instrument down the lumen to the labrum.
Femoral Tunnel Guide Device
Provided is a femoral tunnel guide device including: a handle; a guide tube coupled to the handle and extending in one direction: and an offset unit extending from the guide tube and spaced apart by a predetermined distance from a virtual extension line of the guide tube in the one direction.

Kit including a guiding system and a bone material removal device
A kit (4000, 5100) including a guiding system and a cannulated bone material removal device, the bone material removal device (4004, 5200) having a longitudinal shaft (4024, 5202) and comprising on the longitudinal shaft a radially expandable cutting portion (4028, 5208) having a longitudinally-oriented cutting edge (2124), the radial expansion comprising an increase of a cross-sectional diameter of the bone material removal device at the longitudinal position of the expandable cutting portion; and the guiding system including an arcuate element (4008, 5102), a guiding element (4010, 5104) configured to be attached to the arcuate element, and a cannula (4002, 5106), slidably insertable into a portion of the arcuate element; wherein the bone material removal device is axially displaceable within said cannula. The kit can be used in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction.
Target apparatus for aligning a surgical drilling instrument
A target apparatus for aligning a surgical drilling instrument that includes a pointer mechanism for arranging at a location on a bone where a drilled hole that is to be formed is intended to emerge, a guide mechanism for guiding the surgical drilling instrument, and an adjustable connection mechanism with a first end, which is connected to the guide mechanism, and a second end, which is connected to the pointer mechanism. The adjustable connection mechanism comprises a first component, a second component and a locking mechanism. The second component is movable relative to the first component along a predetermined path. The first component is elastically deformable by the locking mechanism such that the second component can be locked relative to the first component by clamping.
Accessory for conducting patella surgery
An accessory is provided for use in the conduct of patella reconstruction surgery. The accessory comprises an elongate datum limb for abutment in use with the superior pole of a patella preferably through the skin. An elongate guide limb for abutment by a side edge of a patella extends transversely relative to the datum limb has guide holes passing through it or an insert carried by it at positions selected to direct a drill or other surgical tool at an edge of the patella to enable holes or tunnels to be formed in the patella at required positions for the attachment or reception of reconstructive ligaments to the patella. Attachment limbs enable the accessory to be secured in an operative position relative to a patella. There may be slots formed by anchor bars integral with the guide limb and attachment limb to strap the accessory to a patient's knee.
