A bone fixation system includes a first plate including a plate body and a connection portion extending distally therefrom, the connection portion including a positioning tab at a distal end thereof, the connection portion including a first opening extending therethrough and a ramped part, and a second plate including a coupling aperture along a proximal portion thereof, the coupling aperture configured to receive the positioning tab therein, the coupling aperture including a ramped proximal face configured to abut against the ramped part of the second surface of the positioning tab when the positioning tab is inserted into the coupling aperture, the head portion including a second opening extending therethrough. A connection screw configured to extend through the first opening and the second opening to couple the first and second plates together. Tightening the screw translates the ramped proximal face along the ramped part, eliminating a connection gap therebetween.

FUSION CAGE AND CLAMPING DEVICE THEREOF

Disclosed are a fusion cage for a spinal surgery and a clamping device thereof. The fusion cage comprises a fusion cage body (1) and a triangular screw plate (2). A limiting groove (12) fit with the clamping device is provided at a rear end surface of the fusion cage body (1), the fusion cage body (1) is hinged with the screw plate (2), and each of three corners of the screw plate (2) is provided with a screw hole (23). The clamping device comprises two clamping rods (4) which are fit with each other, and a front end of each clamping rod (4) is provided with a clamping head (41), wherein each of face-to-face sides of the clamping heads (41) is provided with a limiting protrusion (42), a front end of each clamping head (41) is capable of being inserted into the limiting groove (12) of the fusion cage body (1), and the limiting protrusion (42) is capable of being clamped at a front side surface of the screw plate (2). The fusion cage and the clamping device can easily fit with each other and are convenient to use, so as to enable the surgical operation to be more convenient, accurate and safe.

Bone plates for engaging bone members are described herein. The bone plates can receive one or more screws to secure the bone plates to an underlying bone member. The one or more screws can be inserted into bone plate holes that can be considered locking or non-locking. The bone plates described herein can have particular combinations of locking and/or non-locking holes. In addition, instruments such as distal and proximal aiming guides can accompany the bone plates to guide one or more screws into the bone plates.

The insert hole defines an insert hole central axis extending in a direction at an offset angle relative to the insert central axis. The aperture of the fixation plate is dimensioned to receive the base portion of the insert and the recessed shoulder is dimensioned to receive the flange.
