The controller stores first log information in association with time information into a memory in response to occurrence of the predetermined event. The first log information includes information about the event, and a current value of a predetermined variable associated with the event included in the link information. The controller stores second log information in association with time information into a memory in accordance with a predetermined period. The second log information includes information about a value of the predetermined variable. An information processing device obtains the link information from the controller, and displays information indicating the variable associated with an event indicated by the first log information onto the monitor-based on the link information and the second log information.
Error logging method for a coating plant
An error logging method for a coating plant is disclosed. The error logging method generally includes capturing an error during running of process data records for the coating plant, wherein the individual process data records are ordered according to the given time of operation of the coating plant and each of which contain various process data of the coating plant. The method may further include storage of the captured process data records, detection of a possible error condition of the coating plant, and/or production of an error code when detection of an error condition of the coating plant occurs. The various examples may also relate to storage of the error code in chronological order with the stored process data records.
DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
This system is a data collection system collecting a robot operation-related data/signal from a robot controller. The data collection system includes a data collection condition setting unit setting a collection condition of the robot operation-related data/signal from the robot controller and a data storage unit storing the robot operation-related data/signal collected from the robot controller. A shared memory inside which the data storage unit and the data collection condition setting unit are formed is formed in a substrate which can be mounted on an expansion slot of the robot controller. According to this system, a data collection function can be post-installed to an existing robot controller so as to arbitrarily select and collect various data on the robot operation.

In order to provide a method for analysing quality deficiencies of workpieces, preferably vehicle bodies and/or vehicle attachment parts, in particular after and/or whilst passing through a production process in industrial-method plants, preferably after and/or whilst passing through a painting process in painting plants, by means of which method quality deficiencies can be avoided and/or by means of which method quality deficiency causes in the production process can be determined, avoided and/or remedied, it is proposed in accordance with the invention that the method comprises the following steps: creating a workpiece-specific data set, uniquely assigned to a workpiece, at the start of a production process, in particular at the start of a painting process and/or creating a workpiece-carrier-specific data set, uniquely assigned to a workpiece carrier, at the start of a production process, in particular at the start of a painting process; supplementing the workpiece-specific data set while a workpiece is passing through the production process, in particular the painting process, with in particular quality-relevant process data and/or supplementing the workpiece-carrier-specific data set while a workpiece carrier is passing through the production process, in particular the painting process, with in particular quality-relevant process data; storing the workpiece-specific data set in a database and/or storing the workpiece-carrier-specific data set in a database.
