NUMERICAL CONTROLLER
To provide a numerical controller that can detect a position in a machining program at which a speed control abnormality is likely to occur due to an insufficient look-ahead blocks that are used to determine an acceleration/deceleration operation, and supplement the look-ahead blocks at that position in order to stabilize feed rate, cutting speed and other factors. A numerical controller includes a required look-ahead blocks setting unit that sets a required look-ahead blocks, which is a look-ahead blocks required to execute a machining program, and an operation limitation unit that compares a look-ahead blocks calculated by a look-ahead blocks calculation unit to the required look-ahead blocks and, if the look-ahead blocks is less than the required look-ahead blocks, limits execution of the machining program until the look-ahead blocks reach the required look-ahead blocks.

Numerical controller and method for determining look-ahead variable
A numerical controller is equipped with an access unit configured to access variables included within a machining program at a time of analyzing the machining program, a look-ahead determining unit configured to determine whether or not the variables accessed by the access unit were accessed during look-ahead of the machining program, a specific variable determining unit configured to determine whether or not the variables determined to have been accessed during look-ahead by the look-ahead determining unit are specific variables, and an output unit configured to output at least one of numbers of the specific variables accessed during look-ahead and a time of accessing the specific variables during look-ahead, in the event that the variables accessed during look-ahead are determined to be the specific variables by the specific variable determining unit.
Numerical controller
A numerical controller capable of finely designating a restart condition for look-ahead for a program after suppression of the look-ahead is configured to sequentially read out and analyze commands for blocks of a program, perform look-ahead processing to save the result of the analysis in a buffer, and execute the commands for the blocks looked ahead based on the analysis result saved in the buffer, thereby controlling a machine, and is provided with a function of stopping the look-ahead processing when a block into which a code for stopping look-ahead is inserted is read out from the program. The numerical controller is characterized by being provided with a restart condition determination unit, configured to determine whether or not a look-ahead restart condition commanded by the code for stopping look-ahead is satisfied, and a look-ahead preceding restart unit, configured to restart the look-ahead processing if it is determined by the restart condition determination unit that the restart condition is satisfied, and in that the restart condition is a condition related to the state of the machine.
Numerical control device and control method for numerical control device
A numerical control device includes a program look-ahead unit for prereading and analyzing multiple blocks constituting a machining program, and a program execution unit for executing the blocks to control a machining operation and an auxiliary operation. The program execution unit sequentially executes the blocks in order from the initial block, and shifts an execution start time of the auxiliary operation block by an offset time corresponding to an auxiliary function code written in the auxiliary operation block.

A computer-implemented method provides setpoint values for a feed rate for adaptive feed control on numerically controlled machine tools. Upon machining a workpiece with a tool, receiving a real-time data with a current state of at least one controlled axis, determining actual values of at least one cutting force of the tool based on the real-time data, receiving a look-ahead data associated with a predicted state of the at least one controlled axis, simulating the machining of the workpiece based on the real-time data and the look-ahead data, generating simulated values of the at least one cutting force of the tool, determining at least one setpoint value for the feed rate of the at least one controlled axis based on the simulated values and the actual values of the at least one cutting force of the tool, and providing the at least one setpoint value.

A numerical control device includes a look-ahead analysis unit which sequentially looks ahead and analyzes a processing program; a control unit which controls a machine; a condition data storage unit which stores condition data including an analysis suppression condition specifying a look-ahead suppression condition and an analysis restart condition corresponding to the analysis suppression condition; an analysis suppression processing unit which suppresses analysis by the look-ahead analysis unit, when the analysis suppression condition is satisfied; an analysis restart processing unit which restarts the lookahead and the analysis when the control state of the machine satisfies the analysis restart condition while the analysis by the look-ahead analysis unit is suppressed; and a speculation analysis unit which executes speculative analysis, wherein when look-ahead is resumed, the result of speculative analysis by the speculation analysis unit is used.
Numerical controller provided with program pre-reading function
A numerical controller successively pre-reads blocks of a plurality of NC programs from a memory or from a storage device connected via a network, while executing the NC programs in parallel. The execution times of the pre-read blocks are integrated in respect of all of the NC programs that are the object of pre-reading, and when an NC program having the shortest integrated execution time of the pre-read blocks can be pre-read, the next block in that NC program is pre-read. On the other hand, when that NC program cannot be pre-read, the NC program is excluded from the pre-reading objects.
