Monitoring of a maintenance intervention on an aircraft

The disclosure herein relates to ensuring the mutual understanding between a remote maintenance support engineer guiding a maintenance engineer intervening on an aircraft, and concerns a system of prevention comprising first and second communication terminals to enable the maintenance engineer and remote maintenance support engineer to exchange information with each other, the information including oral guidance instructions given by the maintenance support engineer and oral responses given by the maintenance engineer relating to the execution of the instructions, a voice recognition device configured for transforming the oral instructions and responses into textual instructions and responses, a semantic analysis device configured for comparing the textual instructions with the textual responses in order to detect any possible inconsistency between the instructions and the responses, and a warning device configured for generating a warning when an inconsistency is detected between the instructions and the responses.

Training models using voice tags

Techniques for training machine-learning algorithms with the aid of voice tags are described herein. An environment may include sensors configured to generate sensor data and devices configured to perform operations. Sensor data as well as indications of actions performed by devices within the environment may be collected over time and analyzed to identify one or more patterns. Over time, a model that includes an association between this sensor data and device actions may be created and trained such that one or more device actions may be automatically initiated in response to identifying sensor data matching the sensor data of the model. To aid in the training, a user may utter a predefined voice tag each time she performs a particular sequence of actions, with the voice tag indicating to the system that temporally proximate sensor data and device-activity data should be used to train a particular model.

DYNAMICALLY DIRECTED WORKPIECE POSITIONING SYSTEM

In various embodiments, a dynamically directed workpiece positioning system may include a transport, a sensor positioned to detect a workpiece on the transport, a cutting member positioned along or downstream of the transport, and a computer system. The sensor may scan the workpiece as the workpiece is moved relative to the transport by a human operator or a positioning device. Based on the scan data, the computer system may generate commands to guide the human operator or positioning device in moving the workpiece to a desired position corresponding to a cut solution for the workpiece. Optionally, the computer system may cause the cutting member to be repositioned while the workpiece is being moved relative to the transport. Once the workpiece is in the desired position, the transport may be used to move the workpiece toward the cutting member. Corresponding methods and apparatuses are also disclosed.

MICROSCOPE CONTROL METHOD AND MICROSCOPE

A microscope control method for operating a microscope, includes: capturing an item of acoustic, graphically represented and/or electronically coded voice information; comparing the voice information with stored reference commands and determining a voice command on the basis of a predetermined degree of correspondence between at least one section of the voice information and a reference command; selecting that reference command to which the voice command corresponds at least to a predetermined degree; generating at least one control command suitable for operating the microscope, wherein the control command is either an invariable control command assigned to the selected reference command or the control command is generated on the basis of a rule assigned to the reference command for forming a generated control command, and controlling the microscope by means of the assigned or generated control command. Also, a microscope is designed to carry out the microscope control method.
