LIGHT GUIDED ASSEMBLY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A guide system and method of projecting visual indicators onto a physical object to guide actions of an individual comprises providing a guide system having a guide system controller and a projector, with the guide system controller including a plurality of addressed display features. An input signal is provided to the guide system controller whereby an addressed display feature is selected based on the input signal and the projector projects a visual indicator corresponding to the selected addressed display feature onto a physical object. The guide system controller may also include a plurality of positional identifiers, with the method including the selecting of a positional identifier based on the input signal and the projecting of the visual indicator onto a physical object at a location corresponding to the selected positional identifier.
OPERATOR ASSISTANCE IN AN AUTOMATION SYSTEM
A consequence determining device for assisting an operator of an automation system, where the automation system implements a process flow that is displayed to the operator through a number of linked graphical objects representing elements in the process flow. The device obtains current status data of the current operation of the automation system, where the current status data includes current automation system settings, receives a simulation selection from the operator, which simulation selection involves a selection of a simulation with automation system settings that differ from the automation system settings used in the current operation, determines a difference in operation between the automation system as operated with the current automation system settings and the simulation automation system settings and displays the difference through manipulating graphical objects corresponding to elements in the process flow that experience the difference in operation.

MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool according to an aspect of the present disclosure is capable of appropriately performing a setup task and comprises: a processing device that processes a workpiece by using a tool; one or a plurality of tag readers that are each attached to an article, which is removable and includes the tool, and read a tag that records unique ID information; and a control device which has a setup display unit that displays task information of the setup task to be performed by a worker in accordance with the ID information read by the tag reader.
Cell controller
A cell controller controls a machining cell including a plurality of work resources. The plurality of work resources include at least one processing machine and at least one robot. The cell controller includes a PLC and a management device. The PLC controls operation of the work resources in accordance with an instruction from the management device, and acquires conditions of a plurality of work elements including the work resources and a workpiece. The management device, in response to occurrence of abnormal stop of the machining cell, specifies a recoverable condition of each work element, and presents to an operator a guide to a recovery procedure that enables each work element to transition to the recoverable condition.
