Systems and methods for mastopexy
A mastopexy implant for maintaining the breast in an elevated and aesthetically pleasing position includes a lower pole support comprising end portions which may be affixed to the chest wall or to a previously installed upper suspension strut. The implant is loaded in an insertion device. The insertion device is inserted through a small incision and into a subcutaneous pocket created in an inferior half of the breast. The lower pole support may have various constructs and in one embodiment includes a unitary conformable mesh having a plurality of arm or band members which are attached across the breast parenchyma and to the chest wall.
TISSUE DISSECTORS
A tissue dissector is provided. The tissue dissector includes a cannula and an introducer coaxially coupled to the cannula and movable therein from a retracted position to an extended position. An introducer is coaxially coupleable to the cannula and movable therein from a retracted position to an extended position. The introducer including a generally annular lumen disposed in fluid communication with an inflation port operably disposed on the introducer and in fluid communication with an inflatable balloon that couples to the introducer. The inflatable balloon is movable from a deflated condition for positioning the introducer adjacent target tissue, to an inflated condition for separating the target tissue from nearby tissue and for providing a barrier therebetween such that the nearby tissue is not affected during the electrosurgical procedure.
MEDICAL DILATOR WITH ECHOGENETIC MARKER
Creating a dissected tissue space in a human subject by using ultrasonic guidance includes inserting a distal end of a. dilator assembly into a tissue space of a. subject, causing and regulating distal movement of the dilator assembly, and subsequent to cessation of the distal movement, deploying an inter-tissue or inter-organ spacer in the tissue space so as to separate a. first tissue from a second tissue, or a. first organ from a second organ. In one example, the dissected tissue space is between a prostate and a rectal wall of a human subject. A medical dilator kit for an ultrasound-guided tissue dissection includes a beveled-tip medical dilator and a dilator-sheath having an internal diameter greater than or equal to an external diameter of the dilator.
Systems and methods for endoluminal valve creation
A system for creating an endoluminal valve from a blood vessel wall, includes: a tubular assembly having a longitudinal axis, a proximal end, a distal portion with a distal end, and a first lumen extending from the proximal end to a distal port located proximate the distal portion, the distal port located along the longitudinal axis, the distal portion having a supporting surface on a same side of the tubular assembly as the distal port, the supporting surface extending in a longitudinal direction and offset from a surface of the tubular assembly proximal the distal port and configured to contact the blood vessel wall; and a tissue dissection probe disposed within the first lumen, the tissue dissection probe having a fluid delivery lumen extending to a fluid delivery port located at a distal end of the tissue dissection probe, the tissue dissection probe configured to be inserted into the blood vessel wall.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GUIDED PORT INSERTION TO MINIMIZE TRAUMA
The present invention provides a system and method for inserting a surgical port to minimize trauma. The system includes an access port and a guiding mechanism on the distal end of the access port, wherein the guiding mechanism has an adaptive atraumatic tip. The system also includes an introducer probe with a handle on the proximal end of the introducer probe, an atraumatic tip on the distal end of the introducer probe and a flexible body for insertion through the access port, the flexible body comprising one or more bendable elbows along the length of the introducer probe, wherein the introducer slidably engages the interior of the surgical access port to define an access path. The method includes inserting an access port down a sulcal path, inserting an introducer probe through the access port, and navigating the sulcal path with the introducer to the target.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENDOLUMINAL VALVE CREATION
The present application pertains generally to medical systems and methods for creation of an autologous tissue valves within a mammalian body. In some embodiments, a system for creating an endoluminal valve from a blood vessel wall is provided. The system includes a tubular assembly having a longitudinal axis, a proximal end, a distal portion with a distal end, and a first lumen extending from the proximal end to a distal port located proximate the distal portion. The distal portion can have a supporting surface that extends in a longitudinal direction and is offset from a surface of the tubular assembly proximal the distal port. The system can further include a tissue dissection probe disposed within the first lumen.

Diaphragm entry for posterior surgical access
Methods and devices described herein facilitate diaphragm entry for posterior access of body organs.
FLEXIBLE DEVICES FOR BLUNT DISSECTION AND RELATED METHODS
Described are devices and methods for forming a surgical space within a body of a patient by blunt dissection, including devices that include a blunt dissection device and optionally one or more of an insufflation lumen, access lumen, and viewing device.
Low cost low profile inflatable bone tamp
An inflatable bone tamp for performing a minimally invasive surgical procedure includes a shaft having a primary region and a reduced diameter region, and an inflatable structure surrounding at least a portion of the reduced diameter region. The reduced diameter region of the shaft allows the deflated size of the inflatable structure to be minimized, while at the same time eliminating the need for the conventional dual lumen balloon catheter construction.
