An elastic garment having a waist band and a pair of leg sleeves. A plurality of strips are secured to the pair of leg sleeves and run up the garment. The top ends of the strips include a hook and loop fastener that attaches to hook and loop fastener patches of the waist band.

There is provided a pair of belt-attached pants suitable for tightening a lower abdomen above a pubis around a waist to prevent an abdominal wall from expanding, the pants being also suitable for fixing the waist. A pair of belt-attached pants (1) includes: a pants main body (10) having a tubular waist part (10aw) that covers a lower abdomen above a pubis around a waist; a first belt (11) having a central part (11c) fixed to a back surface side of the waist part (10aw) and first belt pieces (110) and (111) sandwiching the central part (11c), the first belt pieces (110) and (111) being wound from the back surface side to a front surface side of the waist part (10aw) and fixed at predetermined intervals; a second belt (12) having a central part (12c) fixed to the front surface side of the waist part (10aw), the second belt (12) having a length in which second belt pieces (120) and (121) sandwiching the central part (12c) reach both side parts of the waist part (10aw) along the waist part (10aw); and a fastening female part (20) and a fastening male part (21) that make the second belt (12) fastenable to the first belt (11).

A garment or undergarment includes an inner part and an outer part. The inner part has an upper portion for covering and compressing at least a portion of a mid-section of a wearer above a waistline of a wearer and a lower portion for covering a groin of a wearer and limiting upward movement of the inner part. The outer part is attached to the inner part and overlaps at least a portion of the lower portion.

A garment or undergarment includes an inner part and an outer part. A body worn hosiery/shaper uplifts the rear buttocks in an expandable thin material region, by virtue of respective left and right flank members, which cause the uplifting of the rear buttocks region. The flank members are supported from above by an annular upper waist knitted in welt, that extends circumferentially around the upper rib area. Upper thigh ring cuff portions also help with the uplifting of rear buttocks region from below while the high waisted control top control stomach and back side bulge. The body worn hosiery/shaper also optionally provides sheer leg portions that end just before the toes leaving the toe portion open. An extra wide open crotch double gusset is also provided allowing the user to utilize the restroom when nature calls.

The band comprises a stretchable compressive material having a generally cylindrical shape and one or more ribbing sections. The band may encircle the user's torso to cover at least a part of a protruding belly portion or skin and at least a portion of the user's back. The one or more ribbing sections may be worn underneath the protruding belly portion, providing support. The garment may serve to protect traditional garment tops, confine specialty skin products to the user's torso, or act as an extension of a traditional garment top to avoid exposure of skin.

Channels that contain strips of boning are inserted along the seams and throughout the width of the sewn pieces of fabric. The completed structure is then sewn to the wrong side of the garment's waist line creating a discrete compression feature that alters the body's measurements.

Aspects herein relate to a waistband construct designed to provide support to a torso area of a wearer and more specifically, a mid to lower torso area of a human wearer, (i.e. a pelvic area of a wearer.) The waistband construct in accordance herein may have a multiple modulus of elasticity construction with at least one variation in modulus of elasticity along a circumference of the waistband construct. For example, the waistband construct in accordance with aspects herein may have a first portion having a first modulus of elasticity and a second portion having a second modulus of elasticity, where at least the portion having the higher modulus of elasticity may have a multiple layer construction for providing an effective support mechanism to at least a portion of the mid to lower torso area of the wearer.
