DRILLING TOOL, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A surgical tool comprises a dilator, a cutter, a retractable brush, and at least one retractable drill. The dilator is configured to dilate tissue of a patient and can be positioned in an undilated configuration or a dilated configuration. The cutter is configured to cut the tissue and is disposed at a distal end of the dilator. The cutter is configured to move between a cutting position when the dilator is in the undilated configuration and a non-cutting position when the dilator is in the dilated configuration. The retractable brush is configured to brush a surface of an anatomical element of the patient to remove matter from the surface. The at least one retractable drill is configured to drill into the anatomical element.
CELLULITE TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHODS
Systems and methods for treating cellulite including an apparatus that applies or a method involving separating septa to eliminate or reduce the appearance of cellulite. In one approach, an interventional tool is placed between tissue layers to engage and treat septa connecting tissue layers between which fat deposits are contained.
Catheter devices, needle assemblies, kits and methods
Examples of catheter devices, removable needle devices and kits are disclosed. Also methods for accessing a hollow organ are disclosed. The catheter devices include a body extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end, wherein the body includes an elongated channel along a longitudinal length of the body extending from the proximal end to the distal end of the body, wherein the channel is configured to receive an elongated needle of a removable needle device, and the body includes one or more cutting edges extending in a proximal direction from the distal end of the body. The body of the catheter device includes one or more recesses adapted to mate with one or more catches of the removable needle device for coupling the needle device to the catheter devices. Also methods of using the catheters, removable needle devices and the kits are disclosed.
Passive Dilation in Catheter Insertion Systems
Disclosed herein is a catheter, which in some embodiments includes a distal section configured to enter a skin insertion site. The distal section can include a tapered junction having one or more dilation structures configured to dilate the skin insertion site. The distal section can further include a distal portion extending from a distal end of the tapered junction, the distal portion having a diameter smaller than a proximal portion of the catheter. In combination, the tapered junction, the one or more dilation structures, and the specific actions of the user urging the catheter into the insertion site can result in an improved fit of the catheter in the insertion site.
Straberi EpiStamp Device
The present invention discloses an advance in enhanced stability, enhanced solubility, and enhanced uniqueness towards a micro needling stamper device by proposing an improved process by presenting a technique where skin care products are delivered by way of a needling device is presented. The device has a suction that operates in the casing of the needles. When the stamping of the microneedles occurs, this suction feature lift the skin from it's a regular lying surface. The suction feature promotes blood circulation which will promote cell repair and aide in regeneration. This vacuum like suction separates different layers of tissues, thus microtrauma from the needles is more confined to the layer desired; the epidermis. This also triggers an inflammatory response flooding the area with white blood cells, platelets, and other healing aids for the re-generation process.
Handpieces for tissue treatment
A dermatological skin treatment device is provided. The device comprises a handpiece and a cutting tool, wherein the tool is inserted through the conduit and percutaneously inserted into a tissue disposed within a recessed area of the handpiece. The device and method cut the fibrous structures under the skin that cause cellulite at an angle substantially parallel to the surface of the skin and replace these structures with a non-cellulite forming structure by deploying a highly fibrous mesh through a single needle hole to create a highly fibrous layer directly or through wound healing processes.
METHODS, COMPOSITIONS, AND DELIVERY SYSTEMS FOR THERAPEUTIC SKIN TREATMENTS
Disclosed are skincare formulations, delivery systems and treatment methods containing an oligopeptide and a combination of antioxidants for topical application to the skin before and/or after dermatological procedures that affect the skin's barrier. The systems herein alleviate discomfort and enable rapid healing of irritated and damaged skin, and provide improved treatment outcomes for dermatological procedures. The disclosed topical formulations, delivery systems, and methods thereof provide enhanced penetration of the active ingredients to the skin while maintaining skin moisture and protecting sensitive skin after dermatological procedures for improvement of aesthetic skin properties. Also provided are methods for therapeutic treatment of dermatological conditions by topically applying, using, for example, a pre-moistened bio-cellulose mask, a formulation comprising (% w/w) at least 0.0001% palmitoyl sh-tripeptide-4 amide on an active basis and at least 0.1% Camellia sinensis leaf extract.
Minimally invasive methods and apparatus
Methods and apparatus are provided to facilitate the minimally invasive removal of tissue biopsies and to facilitate the direct approach to anesthetizing the chest wall, in accordance with embodiments of the present invention. A pull-type cutting device 1 comprises two coaxially nested tubes, each extending from a proximal end 21 to a distal end 22. The first tube 61 defines a guide wire lumen 23 for slidingly receiving a guide wire. The second tube 63 extends over the first tube 60 and coupled thereto at the distal end 22 defining an expandable portion 13 adjacent the distal end 22. The second tube 63 defines an inflation lumen 25 extending from the shaft proximal end 21 to the expandable portion 13. The inflation lumen 25 communicates inflation fluid from the proximal end 21 to the expandable portion 13 so as to inflate and deploy the expandable portion 13. Disposed adjacent the shaft distal end 22 is a cutting head 10 comprising the expandable portion 13 having a cutting portion 11 distal from the shaft distal end 22.
Pixel array medical systems, devices and methods
Systems, instruments, methods, and compositions are described involving removing a portion of the epidermis within a donor site on a subject, and harvesting dermal plugs within the donor site. An injectable filler is formed by mincing the dermal plugs. The injectable filler is configured for injecting into a recipient site on the subject.
