A conception aid for assisting in natural conception may include a platform configured for placement in a vaginal canal, wherein the platform comprises one or more capturing elements configured to collect semen. A method of aiding conception may include providing a conception aid device including one or more capturing elements, collecting semen with the one or more capturing elements wherein the one or more capturing elements is configured to contain the collected semen on the device, and positioning the device in a vaginal canal.
Apparatus including a cylindrical body and a nub
An apparatus may include a plunger and a substantially cylindrical body. The substantially cylindrical body may include an end portion having rounded edges and may define a cavity sized to receive the plunger. The substantially cylindrical body may include at least one opening extending from the cavity to an external surface. The at least one opening may a substantially irregular shape. In some embodiments, the at least one opening may extend from the cavity through a nub to the external surface. The nub may have a rounded shape. In some embodiments, the substantially irregular shape may include one of a slit, an oval shape, an elliptical shape, an hourglass shape, a rectangular shape, and a diamond shape. In some embodiments, the opening may be part of a non-cylindrical fluid passage.

Device for processing sperm
Provided herein is a semen processing device. The device is a collection cup with a top portion encompassing a collection cavity into which the semen sample is deposited and a bottom portion encompassing a processing chamber and containing the processing unit for the collected semen. A flow control valve or a serpentine channel may be disposed as part of the processing unit to regulate the flow rate of semen from the collection cavity into the processing unit. A harvesting dock is disposed through the surface of the bottom portion. The semen flows from the collection cavity into the processing unit and is harvested through the harvesting dock.
Lube distribution apparatus for use with sperm collection device
A lube distribution apparatus for use in connection with a sperm collection device is provided and configured to be installed on the sperm collection device in lieu of the end cap. The lube distribution apparatus comprising a main body having a cylindrical opening at a first end thereof, the cylindrical opening having means for engaging an open end of the sperm collection device. A lubricant reservoir is located within the main body of the lube distribution device for housing lubricant to be used in the sperm collection device. Injection means are provided for injecting lubricant from the lubricant reservoir into the sperm collection device. The lube distribution apparatus may further include an end cap removably affixed to a second end of the main body and enclosing the lubricant reservoir. A vent for allowing outside air to enter the lubricant reservoir during actuation of the injection means may also be provided. The vent may be located in the end cap or, alternatively, directly in the main body of the lube distribution device.
