Flat-knit support garment for upper torso
Aspects of a flat-knit support garment for an upper torso are provided. The flat-knit support garment may include a bra structure having a flat-knit bra material that includes a cup zone, a body zone, a wing zone, a strap zone, and a chestband zone. In some instances, a perimeter of the flat-knit bra comprising a neck opening and armhole openings includes a finished edge treatment corresponding to a high stretch modulus, covered yarn. Such finished edges are generated in seamless construction with the unitary, flat-knit structure of the flat-knit support garment for an upper torso. The flat-knit characteristics of the support garment for an upper torso may correspond to one or more of a flat-knit stitch sequence, a yarn type, and/or a finishing treatment.
Upper-torso garment with three-dimensional knit structures
An upper-torso garment includes a chest-covering portion having a knit textile region, which includes a plurality of courses fully spanning a dome-shaped portion. In addition, the knit textile region includes a plurality of partial-length courses partially spanning the dome-shaped portion.
Article of apparel
A bra including a closure system, the closure system including a first layered fabric body, a second layered fabric body, a loop assembly secured to the first layered fabric body, and a hook assembly secured to the second layered fabric body. The hook assembly is configured to interface with the loop assembly to secure the first layered fabric body to the second layered fabric body, and the first layered fabric body includes a flexible supporting layer, where the flexible supporting layer is configured to provide rigidity to the second layered fabric body such that the second layered fabric body maintains a flat configuration when it is secured to the first layered fabric body.
SUPPORTING GARMENT ARTICLE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING A SUPPORTING GARMENT ARTICLE
A supporting garment article such as a brassiere comprises a layer of elastomer provided in a graduating manner such that the area density of the elastomer vanes across a first region of the garment article. Supporting garment articles of the present disclosure provide the support of a constructed bra while maintaining the comfort factor of an unconstructed bra such as a bralette. The present disclosure provides a superior medium support bra using graduated application of an elastomer such as silicone, bonding, extrusion and dry moulding techniques.
Undergarment receiving a thin intermediate bonding layer between two textiles prior to thermoforming
A process for manufacturing an undergarment having two superimposed textiles, comprising depositing on certain parts of reinforcements (8) comprising a thick layer of a shaped memory foam elastic material, the polymerization of this material and also the shaping of the textiles of the undergarment by thermoforming, characterized in that it comprises a step of depositing, on the entire surface of at least the textiles, a thin layer of an elastic adhesive-bonding material, and then a step of polymerizing this thin layer of adhesive bonding during the thermoforming for shaping, and in that it comprises a step of prior depositing, on the textile receiving the layer of reinforcement (8), of a barrier layer of an elastic material, which is polymerized before the depositing of this reinforcement.
Upper and lower torso garments having an improved band
A torso garment, such as a brassiere or brief, includes a body formed of inner and outer layers, the body including at least one torso band extending from a portion of the body, where the inner and outer layers overlap along a fold line of the torso garment. The torso garment includes an elastomeric band positioned between the inner and outer layers proximate the fold line.
UNITARY POLYMERIC FOAM BRASSIERE
A brassiere includes a main body formed entirely of a unitary polymeric foam material and including left and right breast covering portions, left and right shoulder straps integral with and extending from a top portion of the breast covering portions, and the shoulder straps terminating at ends that are secured to the respective left and right breast covering portions, and left and right torso band portions extending from the outer sides of the respective left and right breast covering portions, and a back closure mechanism for securing the left and right torso band portions together to thereby secure the brassiere on the wearer.
ANTI-NIPPLE PROTRUSION GARMENTS
Fabrics and garments, and methods for producing these fabrics and garments having a thin polymer layer which reduces degree of nipple protrusion are provided.
FUSED BRASSIERE
A fused brassiere according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an outer fabric having elasticity; a lining having elasticity and configured to form a first pocket portion and a second pocket portion by being bonded to the outer fabric by being compressed against an inner surface of the outer fabric; a first cup-shaped pad portion and a second cup-shaped pad portion inserted into the first pocket portion and the second pocket portion, respectively; and a core member made of a material having elasticity lower than the outer fabric, formed in a region between the first pocket portion and the second pocket portion and in a circumferential portion of the first pocket portion and the second pocket portion, disposed between the outer fabric and the lining, and bonded together when the outer fabric and the lining are compressed against each other, wherein the core member includes: a first connecting portion formed to surround lower portions of the first pocket portion and the second pocket portion; a second connecting portion formed to surround upper portions of the first pocket portion and the second pocket portion; and a third connecting portion connecting the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion to each other, wherein a first cup-shaped pad portion includes a first breast point BP1, and a second cup-shaped pad portion includes a second breast point BP2; and wherein the first connecting portion is formed to surround the first pocket portion and the second pocket portion so that when viewed from the front, opposite ends of the first connecting portion are disposed higher than the first breast point and the second breast point, respectively.
Multi-layer nursing garment
The present invention teaches a multi-layered nursing garment. The multi-layered nursing garment includes breasts support having a pair of breast cups, shoulder straps and a chest band. Each breast cup is comprised of two or more layers. Further a clasp for attaching an outer removable layer with a shoulder strap and a clip is configured for attaching another, inner layer. The invention provides a number of combinations of clips, clasps, and layers but which a breastfeeding woman can selectively open the nursing garment to accomplish breastfeeding and/or milk pumping from either breast, and has the capacity to engage in said events simultaneously.
