Articles of clothing and brassieres
The present invention provides a brassiere having excellent fitting properties, allowing a greater number of wearers to obtain a sufficient fit for their breasts. The brassiere has a cup part for covering the wearer's breasts. The cup part includes an inner cup provided inside the cup part. The inner cup has an upper side portion. The upper side portion has a wave-shaped structure.
METHODS FOR CONTROLLED APPLICATION OF ADHESIVE AND GARMENTS FORMED THEREBY
A method of manufacturing a garment is provided that includes applying an adhesive layer to a first ply and/or a second ply in a first amount in a first zone where structural support is desired and in a second amount in a second zone where breathability is desired; arranging the first and second plies with respect to one another so that the adhesive layer is therebetween; and activating the adhesive layer to secure the first and second plies to one another.
BRASSIERE
A brassiere has a chest band, a portion of which includes a pair of concavities, each of which is to be located below one of a wearer's breasts. A pair of curved support members is attached to the chest band along the pair of concavities, respectively. A breast cup is situated within each concavity. Each breast cup has an inner liner, an outer liner, and a foam pad sandwiched between the inner and outer liners. The inner and/or outer liner of each breast cup is attached to the chest band along the respective concavity. The foam pad of each breast cup is not attached to the chest band, other than by way of the inner and/or outer liner. The chest band has an inner layer touching a wearer's skin, an outer layer facing outwardly from the wearer, and an intermediate layer sandwiched between the inner and outer layers.
BRA WITH INTERMEDIARY FLEXIBLE LAYER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A bra and method of manufacturing the same that is designed to (1) provide the optimum level of support, comfort, fit and coverage to a wearer of the bra, (2) visually enhance the wearer's figure by preventing cup gaping and side and top overflow or bulging, and (3) improve the breathability of the bra, thereby reducing sweat and irritation of the skin on or around the wearer's breasts. The bra of the present disclosure comprises bra cups that include intermediary flexible layers that are configured such that they allow the bra cups to stretch and contract to accommodate and fit snugly around the wearer's breasts.
UPPER-TORSO GARMENT WITH TUBULAR-JACQUARD KNIT STRUCTURE
An upper-torso garment includes a tubular-jacquard knit structure within a chest-covering portion. The tubular-jacquard knit structure includes interlocked courses formed by each front-stitch course intermittently interlocking with a back-stitch course. The tubular-jacquard knit structure is divided into a plurality of zones across the chest-covering portion that may vary based on how front-stitch courses interlock with back-stitch courses.
HOOK AND EYE CLOSURE WITH ALTERNATIVE SPACING
A closure portion for a brassiere includes an inner face configured to contact a wearer's skin while the bra is worn. An outer face faces away from the wearer's skin while the brassiere is worn. A first end is attached to a wing of the brassiere. A free second end is opposite the first end. The eyes on the outer face of the closure portion are arranged in a first column of eyes next to a second column of eyes and a third column of eyes next to the second column of eyes. A first lateral spacing is provided between the first and second columns of eyes, which first lateral spacing is different from a second lateral spacing between the second and third columns of eyes. A brassiere with such a closure portion is also provided according to the present disclosure.
Bra Liner
A bra liner is an apparatus that conforms under a breast and is positioned in between the breast and a bra cup. The apparatus includes a flat liner body and at least one piece of adhesive. The flat liner body presses against the underside of a breast and an inner surface of a bra cup. The flat liner body includes an absorbent layer and a backing layer. The absorbent layer collects and retains sweat from the breast. The absorbent layer is connected across the backing layer. The absorbent layer and the backing layer are coextensive with each other. The at least one piece of adhesive is distributed across the backing layer. The at least one piece of adhesive is fixed onto the backing layer, opposite to the absorbent layer. The apparatus further includes a sealing sheet to prevent the at least one piece of adhesive from sticking to unwanted surfaces.
PRODUCTION OF CUSTOM GARMENTS BY ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
A method of making a support garment, comprising: (a) receiving, into a computing system, a 3D image of a human body portion; (b) generating in said computing system an initial virtual 3D model of a support garment in a configuration corresponding to said 3D image, said garment having an outer surface, an inner (body facing) surface, and a thickness dimension therebetween, (c) generating from said initial virtual 3D model a flattening virtual 3D model of said support garment in said computing system, the flattened virtual model in a configuration for additive manufacturing thereof with either said outer surface or said inner surface adhered to a generally planar build platform; and (d) identifying a first zone of either said initial or said flattened virtual 3D model; (e) modifying (before or after step (c), preferably after step (c)) said first zone of said virtual 3D model to comprise a perforated sheet.
High-elastic, Lightweight and Comfortable Underwear and A Production Process Thereof
The invention disclosed a high-elastic, lightweight and comfortable underwear and a production process thereof, comprising underwear inner-layer and underwear outer-layer, wherein elastomeric strips are provided between the underwear inner-layer and underwear outer-layer. The production process comprises the following steps: 1) printing the elastomeric strip shapes; 2) pressing elastomeric strips; 3) cutting residual material; 4) finishing garment. Compared to the prior, the invention has the following advantageous effects: the invention is with simple structure and easy to manufacture, the invention can provide sufficient support and sufficient binding force for users while the skin is not be squeezed, the elastomeric strips can replace traditional rubber bands, steel rings, stabilized yarn, and etc, which has high-quality support performance to achieve shaping effect, and has excellent elasticity and resilience to facilitate design and manufacture with no worries of size, moreover, the invention is washable and not easy to deform.
CRADLE STRUCTURE FOR A GARMENT CUP
