A laser device for dermocosmetic, medical, or aesthetic treatments, comprising: A) a laser system comprising a lamp-pumped source; B) an optical fibre transporting the laser beam produced by said source; C) a handpiece or a scanner connected to said optical fibre, comprising a lens and mirror system projecting the image of the laser beam onto the area to be treated; characterized in that said optical fibre has a rectangular section and said image is rectangular. A method of dermocosmetic laser treatment characterized by rectangular laser spots is also claimed. It is a further object of the present invention a tracing kit, which allows the marking of a surface area, preferably of biological tissue, with a fluorescent or photosensitive substance invisible to light. Such an invisible and fluorescent or photosensitive substance absorbs the electromagnetic radiation with the proper wavelength emitted by the illuminator and reflects it in the visible spectrum.

Skin treatment device using RF

A skin treatment device includes: an RF generator configured to generate an RF output; and an applicator being of a bipolar type and including an applicator body and needles, wherein the needles are arranged on a front surface of the applicator body, inserted into a dermal layer of the skin of a person to be treated and electrically connected to the RF generator to transmit the RF output, wherein, when the applicator is turned on, the applicator transmits a single or a plurality of RF pulses according to the RF output to the person to be treated, and the RF output is 5 W or more and 13 W or less, and a frequency of the RF output is greater than 1 MHz and less than 3 MHz, and a duration of the RF pulse according to the RF output is 50 ms or more and 100 ms or less.

Systems and methods for controlling therapeutic laser pulse duration

Dermatological systems and methods for providing a therapeutic laser treatment wherein the duration of a therapeutic laser pulse is based on one or more determinations of a surface temperature of the skin during the delivery of the pulse. Initiation of the therapeutic laser pulse may be based on sensed skin temperature during a cooling of the skin prior to initiation of the pulse.

Display device and interfaces for cryogenic devices

The disclosure describes a cryogenic device with a display device for displaying one of a plurality of user-interfaces associated with a plurality of cryogenic device states. The cryogenic device is configured to: generate an initial user-interface for display on the display device; determine that the cryogenic device is in a first state; generate, in response to determining that the cryogenic device is in the first state, instructions for rendering a first user-interface, wherein the first user-interface is associated with the first state; and cause the display device to display the first user-interface. In this way, the cryogenic device may have a dynamic user interface that is configured to response to states of the cryogenic device.

A needle tip for applying current is provided. The needle tip for applying current includes a needle fixing unit, and a plurality of needles disposed on one surface of the needle fixing unit, wherein each needle includes at least one active region which is formed, as an insulator is not coated on a partial area of the needle except for a distal end portion of the needle and electromagnetically conducted. The plurality of needles are connected to electrodes having alternately different polarities. When the plurality of needles include the plurality of active regions spaced apart from each other, the intensity of current applied to each of electrodes connected to the plurality of needles is adjusted, such that electric energy is transmitted between the plurality of active regions spaced apart from each other.

Apparatuses and methods are disclosed for applying laser energy having desired pulse characteristics, including a sufficiently short duration and/or a sufficiently high energy for the photomechanical treatment of skin pigmentations and pigmented lesions, both naturally-occurring (e.g., birthmarks), as well as artificial (e.g., tattoos). The laser energy may be generated with an apparatus having a resonator with the capability of switching between a modelocked pulse operating mode and an amplification operating mode. The operating modes are carried out through the application of a time-dependent bias voltage, having waveforms as described herein, to an electro-optical device positioned along the optical axis of the resonator.

Apparatus and methods for delivering electromagnetic energy to a patient's tissue and reducing pain experienced by the patient during treatment of the patient's tissue with the delivered electromagnetic energy. The tissue treatment apparatus includes a delivery device configured to transfer the electromagnetic energy through the skin surface to a region of tissue, and also includes a vibration device that is mechanically coupled with the delivery device. The vibration device is configured to transfer mechanical vibrations along an axis substantially normal to the skin surface to the region of tissue being treated.

DEVICES FOR IMAGE-GUIDED LIGHT TREATMENT OF SKIN

In one aspect, devices for light treatment of skin are described herein. A device described herein, in some embodiments, comprises an interior compartment having a proximal end and a distal end, and an optical aperture disposed at the distal end. The device also comprises a laser or BBL source that produces a laser or BBL beam. The laser or BBL beam has a first optical path within the interior compartment, between the proximal end and the distal end. Additionally, the first optical path exits the interior compartment through the optical aperture. The device further comprises a camera that receives light from the aperture. The light received from the aperture has a second optical path within the interior compartment. Further, a selectively reflective optical element is disposed in the first and second optical paths. The selectively reflective optical element generally transmits the laser or BBL beam but generally reflects at least a portion of the light from the aperture toward the camera.
