The present disclosure provides a hair removing device, including: a reflector, a light source, a first light-transmitting body, a heat dissipation base and a refrigerating member. The light source is arranged inside the reflector and can emit light. The reflector can reflect light, such that the hair removing device can emit light to remove the hair from the skin. The first light-transmitting body and the reflector cooperatively define a cavity to receive the light source. A body of the light source is suspended in the cavity. Two sides of the heat dissipation base are thermally coupled to the reflector and the refrigerating member respectively.

Aesthetic method of biological structure treatment by magnetic field

Systems and methods for treating a body region are provided herein. A treatment device for treating a body region is provided, and may include a first applicator and a second applicator. The first and second applicators are held on the body region by a belt. The first applicator may include a first magnetic field generating device and a radiofrequency electrode. The second applicator may include a second magnetic field generating device. The first and second magnetic field generating devices may each generate a time-vary magnetic field with a plurality of sequential magnetic impulses to cause muscle contraction in the body region. The radiofrequency electrode may provide radiofrequency waves causing heating of tissue within the body region. The treatment device may further include an energy storage device and a switching device. The switching device my discharge energy from the energy storage device to the first or the second magnetic field generating device to generate the time-vary magnetic field.

HAIR CUTTING DEVICE

A hair cutting device for cutting hair on a body of a subject includes a light source for generating laser light at one or more specific wavelengths corresponding to wavelengths absorbed by one or more chromophores in hair; and a cutting element that has an optical waveguide that is coupled to the light source to receive laser light. A portion of a side wall of the optical waveguide forms a cutting face for contacting hair where, at least at the cutting face, the optical waveguide has a refractive index that is equal to or lower than the refractive index of hair and higher than the refractive index of skin.

Delivery of nanoparticles

Delivery of compositions for treatment of skin tissue with photoactive plasmonic nanoparticles and light, with embodiments relating to delivery devices. Treatments are useful for cosmetic, diagnostic and therapeutic applications.

Systems and Methods for Aesthetic Treatment

Provided herein is a multifunctional aesthetic system including a housing, an electromagnetic array situated in the housing and having a plurality of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) sources, each EMR source configured to generate an EMR beam having a wavelength different than that of an EMR beam generated by another of the EMR sources, a controller in electronic communication with the array to operate two or more of the EMR sources to direct the EMR beam to a treatment area, and a sensor in electronic communication with the controller for providing feedback to the controller based on defined parameters to allow the controller to adjust at least one operating condition of the multifunctional system in response to the feedback.

SKIN TREATMENT DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING A SKIN TREATMENT DEVICE

A skin treatment device provides feedback to a user relating to the force or pressure they are applying. In addition to the feedback provided for indicating that the pressure is too high, correct, or too low, there is a further feedback type when the force or pressure is below a lowest threshold value, indicating that there is no contact between the skin and the device. Providing the same feedback information when the user is applying a too low pressure as when the user has deliberately released the device from contact with the skin is thereby avoided.

DETERMINING WHETHER HAIRS ON AN AREA OF SKIN HAVE BEEN TREATED WITH A LIGHT PULSE

According to an aspect, there is provided an apparatus for use with a treatment device. The treatment device is configured to apply a light pulse to skin of a subject to perform a treatment operation to hairs on the skin. The apparatus comprises a processing unit configured to receive one or more images of a first area of the skin from an imaging unit, wherein the imaging unit is arranged to obtain images of the skin of the subject; process the one or more images to determine whether the hairs on the first area of the skin have been treated with a light pulse based on a degree of at least one of carbonization and curling of the hairs on the first area of the skin as shown in the one or more images; and output a first signal indicating whether the hairs on the first area of skin have been treated with a light pulse.

A laser system includes a base unit having a power source. A hand-held applicator is connected with the base unit configured to engage biological tissue for treatment. Position detection structure is associated with the applicator for determining a position of the applicator relative to the engaged biological tissue. A laser source generates a laser beam. A cooling system provides a cooling agent to the biological tissue during treatment. A processor circuit is connected with the position detection structure, the laser source and the cooling system. Based on data received from the position detection structure, the processor circuit triggers application of the cooling agent to the treated biological tissue, or triggers application of the cooling agent to the treated biological tissue, followed by a time delay, and then triggers the laser source.
