A method for fusion of live ultrasound imagery with computed tomography (CT) scan images or magnetic resonance images, the method comprising steps of acquiring a series of CT scan images or magnetic resonance images, acquiring a series of ultrasound images, applying a manual registration process on a computing device to register each of the CT scan images or magnetic resonance images with corresponding ultrasound images, and displaying on a display associated with the computing device the live ultrasound imagery and corresponding CT scan images or magnetic resonance images.

ENDOSCOPIC CATHETER DEVICE

A device may include a catheter and a support tube. The catheter includes a lumen extending therethrough. The catheter is sized and shaped to extend through an endoscopic shaft to a target tissue within a living body. The lumen is sized and shaped for receiving a puncturing device therethrough. The catheter includes a first catheter portion distal to a second catheter portion. The first and second catheter portions are formed from different materials. The first catheter portion has a flexible curved distal end. The tube is fixed about an outer surface of a proximal end of the first catheter portion and an outer surface of a distal end of the second catheter portion.

LASER FIBER-TO-TARGET DISTANCE CONTROL

Systems, devices, and methods for determining a distance between a distal end of an endoscope and a target during an endoscopic procedure are disclosed. A surgical laser feedback control system comprises a feedback analyzer and a controller. The feedback analyzer can receive at least two reflected signals from a target in response to electromagnetic radiation directed at the target. The at least two reflected signals correspond to respective different distances between a distal end of a device of a surgical laser system and the target. The feedback analyzer can determine a distance between the distal end of the device of the surgical laser system and the target based on the at least two reflected signals. The controller can generate a control signal to the surgical laser system to perform a predetermined operation based on the determined distance.

LASER FIBER VARYING LATERAL POSITION AND INTENSITY

A lithotripsy or other medical laser treatment system can include a lateral actuator to laterally displace a distal portion of a laser fiber, such as can be scanned or otherwise controlled to generate a spatial or spatiotemporal sub-targeting pattern without requiring laterally moving an endoscope carrying the laser fiber in a longitudinal passage such as a working channel. A targeted stone can be selectively weakened along the pattern, such as using lower energy pulses, before being fragmented, such as by a higher energy shock pulse.

An RF (radiofrequency) ablation catheter device having a flexible shaft, a distal end, an inflatable balloon mounted on the shaft, having a portion of the flexible shaft that is distal to the inflatable balloon and an RF electrode located on the distal segment of the shaft. A device and method of treating a tumor in a patient having a liquid conductive material, inserting an ablation catheter device into a body organ, advancing the ablation catheter device to a passageway at a target site in the body organ, instilling a volume of the liquid conductive material into the passageway; and applying an RF current to the liquid conductive material.

SPHINCTEROTOMES AND METHODS FOR USING SPHINCTEROTOMES

Sphincterotomes and methods for making and using sphincterotomes are disclosed. An example sphincterotome may include an elongate shaft having an outer surface and a distal end region. The sphincterotome may also include a sphincterotome wire assembly having a distal end coupled to the distal end region of the elongate shaft and a body portion extending along the outer surface of the elongate shaft. The sphincterotome wire assembly may be designed to shift the distal end region of the elongate shaft between a first configuration and a curved configuration. The body portion of the sphincterotome wire assembly may include a cutting region and a non-conductive region.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR INDUCING ABLATION IN OR AROUND OCCLUDED IMPLANTS
