The control device an actuator received in an opening in a front surface of a bezel, which may comprise first and second side portions on each side of the actuator. The control device may comprise an environmental sensing circuit for sensing the environmental characteristic in the space, and a control circuit configured to control the electrical load in response to actuations of the actuator and/or the environmental sensing circuit. The bezel may comprise a ventilation portion on the first or second side portion of the front surface. The ventilation portion may have apertures extending from the front surface to a cavity in the bezel. The environmental sensing circuit may be configured to receive air from outside of the bezel via the cavity.
