AESTHETIC METHOD OF BIOLOGICAL STRUCTURE TREATMENT BY MAGNETIC FIELD
In combined methods for treating a patient using time-varying magnetic field, treatment methods combine various approaches for aesthetic treatment. A magnetic field generating device is placed proximate to a body region of the patient. The magnetic field generating device generates a time-varying magnetic field with a magnetic flux density in a range of 0.5 to 7 Tesla. The time-varying magnetic field is applied to the body region of the patient in order to cause a contraction of a muscle within the body region. A second therapy may be used by applying one or more of optical waves, radio frequency waves, mechanical waves, negative or positive pressure or heat to the body region of the patient.

LASER BEAM DEVICE AND LASER BEAM HAND PIECE
The present invention relates to a laser beam device outputting a multi-spot laser beam, and a laser bean hand piece. The laser beam device, according to the present invention, comprises: a light source unit which generates and emits a single-spot laser beam having a first wavelength; a laser beam oscillation unit which outputs the first wavelength single-spot laser beam emitted from the light source unit as any one of a first wavelength multi-spot laser beam and a single-spot laser beam having a second wavelength, and then outputs any one of the outputted first wavelength multi-spot laser beam and second wavelength single-spot laser beam as a second wavelength multi-spot laser beam, and an amplification unit which amplifies the second wavelength multi-spot laser beam so that the output energy of the second wavelength multi-spot laser beam outputted from the laser beam oscillation unit is relatively high output energy.
SURGICAL LASER SYSTEMS AND LASER DEVICES
A surgical laser system includes an array of laser diodes that are configured to output laser energy, a fiber bundle, a delivery fiber, and a tubular sheath. The fiber bundle includes a plurality of optical fibers and has a proximal end that is configured to receive laser energy from the array of laser diodes. The delivery fiber includes a proximal end that is configured to receive laser energy from a distal end of the fiber bundle. The tubular sheath defines a lumen, in which at least a portion of the delivery fiber is disposed. The tubular sheath is insertable into a working channel of an endoscope or a cystoscope. A distal end of the tubular sheath is configured to deliver laser energy discharged from the delivery fiber into a body of a patient.
ACCCESSORY FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC HANDPIECE
The present invention provides a laser system and laser handpiece and process for skin treatment. The system includes components for producing a continuous or pulse laser beam, and components for delivering a substance to the damaged region of skin. The system is designed to control and utilize the laser beam for damaging small volume of skin tissue and using a disposable tip to deliver a substance which is applied simultaneously or with some delay producing a combination of laser action with the action of a named substance at the same time.
METHOD OF ADMINISTERING ELECTROMAGNETIC ENERGY AND COMPOSITIONS IN THE TREATMENT OF SKIN CONDITIONS
Combined Laser Beam Splitter Retrieval Device
Disclosed herein is a medical device. The medical device includes a sheath, a laser fiber, a basket section, and a laser beam splitter. The laser fiber is configured to extend from an end of the sheath. The basket section includes flexible members. At least a portion of the flexible members are between the sheath and the laser fiber. The laser beam splitter is coupled to the laser fiber.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING TREATMENT PATTERNS
System and method for generating patterns P of aiming and treatment light on target eye tissue (e.g. the retina) of a patient's eye. The system includes light sources for treatment and aiming light, a scanner for generating patterns of spots of the generated light, a controller, and a graphic user interface that allows the user to select one of several possible spot patterns, adjust the spot density and/or spot size, and apply patterns with fixed or varied density. The patterns can be formed of interlaced sub-patterns and/or scanned without adjacent spots being consecutively formed to reduce localized heating. Partially or fully enclosed exclusion zones within the patterns protect sensitive target tissue from exposure to the light.
Beam profile converter, catheter device, and laser ablation device
For the purpose of efficiently converting a beam profile of laser light with a simple configuration, provided is a beam profile converter including: a first optical fiber that outputs guided light from a first end surface; and a second optical fiber being a multi-mode optical fiber to which the light is input to a second end surface and configured to guide the light, in which a core diameter of the second optical fiber is larger than a core diameter of the first optical fiber at the first end surface, and the light output from the first end surface is input to a core portion of the second end surface at a position separated from an optical axis of the second optical fiber in a direction inclined with respect to the second end surface.
LASER SYSTEM FOR ENHANCING REMINERALIZATION AND STRENGTH OF HARD TISSUE
A laser-based system and method for treatment of hard tissue enhances remineralization and fluoride uptake to improve resistance to demineralization. The system can include a laser source, an optic, and a controller for controlling the laser source and/or the optic to deliver radiation to a treatment region with desirable characteristics (e.g., to remove carbonate without damaging the tissue surface). In some cases, the system includes a handpiece having an optical element (e.g., a lens) mounted within a replaceable cartridge and adapted to modulate a laser beam to render the beam non-ablative, prior to the laser beam's delivery to the treatment region. In some embodiments, treatment with the laser can be combined with a fluoride treatment for enhanced therapeutic effect.
