The harness straps slide through openings in shoulder straps of the body. The harness straps are then laced through a series of maintainers in the back of the body. The harness straps having terminally-located tabs that may be pulled from the back of the body toward the front of the body and affixed thereto. The placement of the tabs, when pulled toward the front of the body and attached thereto, determines the fit and support of the garment. By manipulating the tabs of the harness system, a wearer may adjust the length of the harness straps, back and posture support, and the lift provided by the liner. The harness system creates a customizable fit and support level.

An asymmetric brassiere for use with a prosthetic breast is disclosed. The asymmetric brassiere provides a front closure, which provides greater support for the front of the user's body, and enables fastening without shifting the position of the prosthetic. Further, a conductive fabric is provided which cups under the prosthetic. The asymmetric brassiere provides a user's pre-surgery appearance and equilibrium at a reasonable cost.

The present invention teaches a multi-layered nursing garment. The multi-layered nursing garment includes breasts support having a pair of breast cups, shoulder straps and a chest band. Each breast cup is comprised of two or more layers. Further a clasp for attaching an outer removable layer with a shoulder strap and a clip is configured for attaching another, inner layer. The invention provides a number of combinations of clips, clasps, and layers but which a breastfeeding woman can selectively open the nursing garment to accomplish breastfeeding and/or milk pumping from either breast, and has the capacity to engage in said events simultaneously.

The first and second support structures may be positioned within the housing such that each of the respective support structures correspond to a position between a center and a bottom of a wearer's first and second respective breasts when the bustier garment is worn by a wearer. In one embodiment, the bustier garment may include first and second support structures that are positioned and oriented within a housing such that the respective first and second support structures are substantially perpendicular to a vertical midline of the garment and/or substantially parallel to a lower edge of the garment.
