CLEAN RELEASE SPLIT CARTON AND METHOD
In accordance with one embodiment, a long medical device is sealed within a clean release split carton. The clean release split carton includes a first carton tube coupled to a second carton tube by a closure label. To open the clean release split carton, a tear string is pulled to tear the closure label thus separating the first carton tube from the second carton tube. The individual carton tubes are then removed from the medical device. The clean release split carton avoids the generation of particulates while opening the carton and make removing the medical device easier.
GLOVE DONNING SYSTEM
A glove donning system including glove assemblies is provided that maintains the cleanliness of a glove until the glove is utilized. In addition, the glove donning system assists a user during a donning process thereby preventing contamination of the glove during the donning process.
STERILE CONTAINER COMPRISING A GAS-PERMEABLE FILTER CASSETTE
A filter cassette which is part of a filter system can be fastened to a sterile container lid. The sterile container lid serves to close a sterile container and to make a gas exchange possible between the container exterior and the container interior, without recontaminating the container material. In addition, the filter system fulfils a valve function. In order to center the filter cassette with respect to the sterile container lid, a first centering portion is provided on the filter cassette. The first centering portion interacts with a second centering portion on the sterile container wall section when the filter cassette is inserted into the sterile container lid.
APPLICATOR SYSTEM FOR APPLICATION OF SKIN TAG REMOVING DEVICES
An applicator system that includes at least one skin tag removing device and an applicator for application of the device onto a skin tag. The device has an aperture delimited by occlusion members, and opposite flexible pressure members to apply pressure to the occlusion members towards the aperture. The applicator has a housing with a guideway extending between the inlet and outlet which receives at least part of an elongated reciprocating applicator rod having an applicator head for engaging the skin tag removing device when moved out of the outlet of the guideway and forced through the aperture of the skin tag removing device, and an opposite operating end located outside the inlet of the guideway. The applicator head has a space for accommodating a skin tag and is configured for ejecting the device to occlude the skin tag which eventually withers away.
Medical Waste Container Lining Device and Method
A device for securing and disinfecting waste materials introduced therein, the device comprising a container, having at least one interior surface and at least one exterior surface, the at least one interior surface forming at least one chamber within the container for storing the waste materials introduced into the at least one chamber of the container, at least one aperture for introducing the waste materials into the at least one chamber, and at least one disinfecting substance adhered to the at least one interior surface for disinfecting the waste materials in contact with the at least one interior surface.
STACKABLE ENDOSCOPE STORAGE TRAY AND METHOD OF USE
An endoscope tray is provided. The tray comprises an interior for storage of an endoscope. The tray has a lid configured to cover the tray. The lid has an exterior surface having a recess and/or projection, and the tray has a bottom exterior surface having a recess and/or projection such that the recess and/or projection of the lid is configured to mate with the recess and/or projection of the bottom exterior surface of the tray. Systems and methods are also provided.
Unbacked and Modifiable Tapes and Skin Dressings
Tapes and methods including an unbacked construction of at least one liquid layer adhesive that has been at least one of dried and cured. Occlusive tissue dressings, tapes and methods including an elastomeric drape and, for backed drapes and some unbacked drapes, a liquid component, at least partially cross-linked at least after one of drying and curing, suitable for application at a dressing-to-skin interface in order to create a substantially air-tight seal. The same or a different liquid component may be applied by a user at a tube-to-dressing interface of an elastomeric drape to create a similar air-tight seal around the tube, if not occlusively sealed during its manufacture. Featured are unbacked tapes, a drape with liquid sealant component, a liquid layered drape with liquid sealant component, and a liquid layered drape.
TRAY FOR A SOFT TISSUE CUTTING DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
Methods of using a soft tissue cutting device are disclosed. The methods include providing the soft tissue cutting device, positioning the soft tissue cutting device in a priming slot of a tray configured for receiving and holding the soft tissue cutting device, attaching a priming syringe to the soft tissue cutting device, priming a balloon disposed on a distal end of the soft tissue cutting device by equalizing a first pressure inside the balloon to a second pressure inside the priming syringe, removing the soft tissue cutting device from the priming slot, and positioning the distal end of the soft tissue cutting device on a safety slot included in the tray to determine whether the tissue cutting device has been properly primed.
Tray for a soft tissue cutting device and methods of use
A soft tissue cutting device and methods of cutting soft tissue are disclosed. The soft tissue cutting device includes a blade having a blade working end. One or more balloons are disposed in proximity of the blade working end, and an inflation assembly configured inflate the one or more balloons is included. The inflation assembly includes a fill port in fluid communication with a bellows, and the one or more balloons.
ENDOSCOPE STORAGE CART, SYSTEM AND METHODS
A cart for storage of an endoscope is provided. The cart comprises a housing having a slot configured to slidably receive a tray. The tray is configured to store an endoscope, and a timer is coupled to the housing, slot and/or tray. The timer is configured to display increments of time that the endoscope is stored in the tray. Systems and methods are also provided.
