PACKAGE FOR AN OBJECT AND AN ASSEMBLY INCLUDING SUCH A PACKAGE
A package for an object includes a support element with a coupler configured to hold the object captive in a given orientation of the object, and release the object by pivoting the object. The support element alone defines a first chamber containing the object, the support element also includes at least two parts that can be coupled and uncoupled relative to each other by inter-fitting with partial overlap, so as to form the first chamber containing the object. A stopper is coupled to the support element of the object by inter-fitting with partial overlap such that the support element presents a grip portion that projects from the stopper. A cover is coupled to the stopper by inter-fitting with partial overlap so as to cooperate with the stopper to define a second chamber inside which the grip portion of the support element extends, and while the cover is coupled to the stopper, a grip portion of the stopper projects from the cover.

A package for an object includes a support element with means for coupling the object to the support element. A first hollow protective element is provided as a stopper coupled to the support element of the object. The support element presents a grip portion which projects from the stopper, the support element, alone or in co-operation with the stopper, defining a first chamber containing the object. A second hollow protective element is provided as a cover. The cover is coupled to the stopper so as to cooperate with the stopper to define a second chamber inside which the grip portion of the support element extends. The cover is coupled to the stopper, with the grip portion of the stopper projecting from the cover.

Described is a hand-held measuring device 1 for measuring the pH value of wounds at a measuring point, wherein the hand-held measuring device 1 comprises a housing 2, a removable protective case 5 which at least partially encloses the housing 2, and a detection and evaluation unit constructed of at least two elements 6, 7, 9. The evaluation unit is designed to process the measured signals detected by the detection unit. At least one element 7 of the detection and evaluation unit is arranged in or on the housing 2 and at least one element 6, 9 of the detection and evaluation unit is designed as a component of the protective case 5.
Packaging and corresponding unpackaging procedure
The invention relates to a package comprising a hollow body, a lid joined to the hollow body by a hinge, and a protective cover (that can be moved between a closed position in which it covers the lid and an open position in which it is separated from the hollow body and forms, with a coupling device, a lever arm coupled to the lid, with the coupling device being able to assume a retracted configuration when the cover is in the closed position, and a deployed configuration when the cover is in the open position. The invention also relates to a corresponding unpackaging process.
BRACKET ASSEMBLY
Some embodiments of the invention may provide a bracket assembly for selectively receiving a stem portion of a medical device therein. The bracket assembly may be movably or permanently disposed within a case or tray assembly. The case or tray assembly may then be placed within a sterilization chamber such as an autoclave to sterilize the medical device. The bracket assembly includes a main body coupled with a gripping element for selectively clamping or otherwise holding the stem portion of the medical device therein in response to pressing the medical device into the gripping element.
Sharps container with sliding door sharps disposal lid
A lid (100) for a container (1901) includes a first sliding door (102) and a second sliding door (103). A lid body (101) has a container engaging section (104) and an interior section (103) having a sliding surface (120) and a sharps disposal aperture (119). The second sliding door interlocks between the sliding surface and the first sliding door. The first sliding door and the second sliding door are selectively slidable between: an open position (1100) with a minor protuberance (124) and the major protuberance (125) disposed beneath the second sliding door; a partially closed position (1500) with an edge (701) of the second sliding door disposed between the minor protuberance and the major protuberance; and a closed position (1700) with the major protuberance disposed between the edge of the second sliding door and the minor protuberance.
Locking mechanism for a medical device assembly tray
A tray for a medical device assembly includes a tray body, a tray lid, and a connector arm. The tray body and the tray lid each have a first surface, a plurality of walls extending from the first surface, and an open end opposite the first surface. The connector arm is coupled to the tray body or the tray lid, and has a first position that permits the separation of the tray body and tray lid, and a second position that couples the tray body to the tray lid.

A disposable container (1, 1, 1), in particular for the disposal of sharp medical waste is provided, comprising a first opening (13, 13) sealingly closable by a cover element (2), characterized in that the container is manufactured by blow-moulding; the largest cross-sectional diagonal of the container in the distal half with respect to the first opening is larger than the smallest cross-sectional diagonal of the container in the proximal half with respect to the first opening; and the container comprises a second opening (15, 15) arranged opposite to the first opening or in the distal area with respect to the first opening, the second opening being sealingly closable by a base element (11, 11).
SELF STACKABLE AND INTERLOCKING PACKAGING
The present invention relates to packaging and in particular, to sterile packaging that is configured to be self-stackable and interlocking. A sterile packaging comprising a packaging compartment provided having one open face through which the compartment may be filled, the open face forms a sterile sealing face that is to be sealed with and receive a sterile barrier. The package features at least one coupling interface along an external surface having male to female couplers configured to facilitate piggy-back coupling between two packaging.
