HIGH IMPACT AND HIGH SUPPORT BRAS
Bras for high impact, high support activities are provided. A bra comprises a band that wraps around a torso. The band includes first and second cup regions, and a channel that runs below the collective cup regions. A gore is formed above the channel and between the respective cup regions, adjoining the respective cup regions. A molded cradle is fitted into the channel. For each cup region, a tessellated encapsulating bra cup is fitted therein. Each tessellated encapsulating bra cup includes a plurality of tiles. Respective tiles in the plurality of tiles that are further away from the cradle are larger in size than respective tiles in the plurality of tiles that are closer to the cradle. Each tessellated encapsulating bra cup has a generally concave first inner face and a generally convex first outer face. The tessellated encapsulating bra cups collectively contribute cantilevered support to the bra.
Brassiere cups and methods of manufacturing the same
A brassiere cup for a bra is disclosed. The cup comprises an inner foam-fabric layer which is in contact with a wearer's skin. The cup further comprises an outer spacer fabric layer and a middle plastic underwire. The outer spacer fabric layer is arranged on an outer side of the inner foam-fabric layer, the side being distal from the wearer's skin; and the middle underwire is sandwiched between the inner foam-fabric layer and the outer spacer fabric layer at the lower region. The outer spacer fabric layer comprises at least two fabric layers between which a support containing fusible yarn is sandwiched.
Cup for brassiere and brassiere and method for producing the same
[Object] To provide a cup for a brassiere that is non-wired but can create not only a cleavage in the chest but also a beautiful decollete in the neckline area by pushing up the breasts. [Solution] Provided is a cup 20 for a brassiere 10 obtained by molding a foam textile 1 into a cup shape. The cup 20 includes an upper breast holding face part 60 which covers an upper portion of a breast B and whose underarm-side end portion has a strap 50 attached thereto, a lower breast holding face part 70 which covers a lower portion of the breast B, and a sternum-side breast holding face part 80 which covers a sternum-side portion of the breast B. A rib 80a is formed on the inner face of the sternum-side breast holding face part 80.
THERMOFORMING PROCESS FOR PATTERNED FABRIC SUBSTRATE
Disclosed herein is a composite of a thermoformable fabric and an elastomer which together have been subjected to thermoformable moulding to provide a 3-dimensionally thermoformed fabric article in the form of a textile or in the form of the whole or part of a garment. The article presents an appearance that is substantially free of permanent wrinkles. Also disclosed herein is a process to make said article.
MOLDED ARTICLES MADE WITH CELLULOSE ESTER FIBERS
Thermoformed molded articles are made containing and from fabrics containing spandex and cellulose ester fibers. In the process for making the molded article, a fabric is layed up in a mold a thermoformed at a temperature not exceeding 195° C., and for a residence time sufficient to obtain a molded article that retains its shape upon release from the mold, said fabric comprising cellulose ester fibers. The three-dimensional molded articles can now be made containing sustainably derived fibers, e.g. cellulose ester fibers, that have good shape retention, comfort, and hand. Examples of such molded articles include support garments, such a brassiers.
BREAST SUPPORTING GARMENT AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A breast supporting garment and a method for producing it, the garment having at least one layer made of a fabric comprises a breast receiving portion bounded by a frame portion disposed at least partially below the breast receiving portion. The frame portion comprises a fabric reinforcing element in the form of a coating made of a material having, when in a liquid state during a coating process, having a capability to stay contained within an area of the fabric, to which the material is applied, and to penetrate the fabric to a part of the thickness of the fabric, at least in a portion of the area. The material, when solidified, has a lower elasticity than that of the fabric.
Bra adapted for athletic use
The disclosure concerns a bra adapted for athletic use, of the type comprising a first cup and a second cup, each of them bounded laterally by an outer edge and by an inner edge, and outfitted with a support structure and a base structure. Each cup is outfitted with a support structure connected to a base structure, the support structure comprising at least a first support strap of overall cradle shape which is elastically deformable and which extends at least from the outer edge to the inner edge of the respective cup to support the breasts of the wearer.
Support garment with cantilevered sinusoidal support form
A support garment includes a support band extending laterally around the wearer's torso and two cups. Each cup includes a form-fitting enclosure and a cantilevered support form secured to the support band. Each support form has a first and second lateral appendage; a first and second fulcrum; and a medial support structure. The first fulcrum joins an inferior end of the first lateral appendage with a first end of the medial support structure and the second fulcrum joins an inferior end of the second lateral appendage with the second end of the medial support structure. The weight of the breast is transferred by rotational force around each fulcrum through each lateral appendage to the support band across the back of the wearer by way of tension.
MOLDED CUP AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A molded cup includes a first fabric layer, a cup core, and a second fabric layer. The first fabric layer and the second fabric layer are respectively provided on an outer surface and an inner surface of the cup core, and the cup core is filled with fluff. The cup core includes an upper layer, an intermediate layer, and a lower layer, the fluff is filled between the upper layer and the lower layer, and the upper layer and the lower layer of the cup core are manufactured by molding of a foam material. The molded cup enables breasts to breathe smoothly without being pressed, and can provide good support and protection effects and maintain comfort for the breasts.
