SUPPORT GARMENT WITH CANTILEVERED SINUSOIDAL SUPPORT FORM

A support garment includes a support band extending laterally around the wearer's torso and two cups. Each cup includes a form-fitting enclosure and a cantilevered support form secured to the support band. Each support form has a first and second lateral appendage; a first and second fulcrum; and a medial support structure. The first fulcrum joins an inferior end of the first lateral appendage with a first end of the medial support structure and the second fulcrum joins an inferior end of the second lateral appendage with the second end of the medial support structure. The weight of the breast is transferred by rotational force around each fulcrum through each lateral appendage to the support band across the back of the wearer by way of tension.

SHAPING GARMENT WITH ADJUSTABLE LOW BACK
20180310638 · 2018-11-01 ·

Designing shapewear for special occasion garments with low cut necklines and back lines can be especially challenging. The challenge lies in constructing a garment that effectively shapes the wearer while simultaneously eliminating significant amounts of material from the chest and/or back region. Disclosed herein are shaping garments designed to be worn underneath garments with low cut back lines. The shaping garment includes a space in the back shaping region on its rear side, such that the shaping garment is not visible beneath an ultra low-back special occasion garment. A removable back adjuster can be used to bridge the space to provide additional shaping support when ultra low-back mode is not required by the special occasion garment.

Different molding materials and methods are provided for producing a sport bra having moisture-transporting molded bra cups. The different molding materials comprise foams having different average cell sizes, fibers having different average deniers per filament, injection-molding materials having different degrees of hydrophilicity, and different hydrophilic treatments. The molding materials are arranged to create a hydrophilic gradient from a skin surface of the wearer of the sport bra to the exterior of the sport bra.

Bra, bra cup, and method of manufacturing same

A bra cup for a bra includes an inner layer of material configured to face a wearer's breast when the bra is worn and an outer layer of material configured to face away from the wearer when the bra is worn. An outer face of the inner layer of material is adjacent an inner face of the outer layer of material. A thin polymer web is disposed on the outer face of the inner layer of material. A bra including the bra cup and a method of manufacturing the bra cup are also disclosed.

BRA STRUCTURE
20180132540 · 2018-05-17 ·

A bra structure comprises two cups connected to each other. Each cup has an apex area and a peripheral area. A wing extends from the edge of each peripheral area. The ends of two wings, which are far away from the cups, can be fastened together. A single piece of a seamless 3D fabric substrate, such as a spacer fabric or a sandwich fabric, is compression-molded to integrally form two cups and two wings. After compression-molding, the 3D fabric substrate has a greater thickness in the apex area than in the peripheral area. The bra structure is seamless, air-permeable, thin, lightweight, pressure-free, and comfortable. Further, the bra structure is fast to fabricate and low in fabrication cost.

THREE DIMENSIONAL MOLDS FOR LIQUID SPRAY DEPOSITION, AND METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CREATING ARTICLES OF APPAREL USING SAME
20240389687 · 2024-11-28 · ·

Three-dimensional molds for use in liquid spray deposition techniques, and methods and systems for manufacturing articles of apparel using the same are provided. In one aspect, the three-dimensional molds comprise a base surface and a plurality of protrusions. Each protrusion extends from the base surface to a tip or an edge of the respective protrusion, and each tip or edge forms an overhang over the base surface such that the article of apparel includes a plurality of openings corresponding to the plurality of overhangs formed by the plurality of protrusions. In another aspect, the methods of manufacturing an article of apparel comprises depositing a first layer of a first liquid material onto a three-dimensional mold including a plurality of openings and drying or curing the first liquid material on the three-dimensional mold to form the article of apparel.

Item of clothing and manufacturing method thereof

An article of clothing and a method of manufacturing thereof are disclosed. The article of clothing comprises a pair of brassiere cups and a pair of frames. Each frame further comprises a bottom member attachable to an underwire of a respective one of the brassiere cups; at least one first projection which originates from the lower member and extends beyond the upper member; at least one second projection which extends from the lower member and extends beyond the upper member. The at least one second projection is closer than the at least one first projection to an underarm region of the respective one of the brassiere cups.
