Provided is a prosthesis for ankle arthroplasty including a talar dome component configured to be attached to a talus bone. Also provided is a guide instrument for guiding a reamer to prepare a talus to receive the talar dome component.
LAPAROSCOPIC BOWEL LENGTH INDICATING DEVICES AND METHODS OF USE
A measuring device and methods of use for measuring a section of a bowel of a patient. The measuring device includes a tubular section having a longitudinal axis and at least one wing normally projecting outward transverse to the longitudinal axis. The tubular section is configured for mounting on a conventional or robotic laparoscopic grasper adjacent the grasper's movable jaws. The at least one wing is are pivotable to a closed position so that grasper with the measuring device mounted thereon can be inserted through a conventional trocar, whereupon the at least one wing projects outward transversely to the longitudinal axis. The at least one wing is of a predetermined length to serve as a measurement tool enabling a surgeon to measure off a desired length of the bowel.
Robotic surgical assemblies and instrument drive connectors thereof
An instrument drive connector includes a housing assembly, an elongated shaft extending distally from the housing assembly, and a first drive assembly at least partially disposed within the housing assembly and the elongated shaft. The first drive assembly includes a first drive screw, a first input drive coupler non-rotatably coupled to a proximal end of the first drive screw, a first drive nut threadedly engaged with a threaded body portion of the first drive screw and longitudinally movable relative thereto in response to rotation of the first drive screw, and a locking link. The locking link includes an elongated body having a proximal end portion coupled to the first drive nut and longitudinally movable relative thereto between a proximal non-locking position and a distal locking position, and a distal end portion including a switch actuation assembly including a switch actuating arm biased towards the distal locking position.
Circular fixator system and method
A device comprises a base. A support is attached to the base. The support is shaped to receive a calf of a person and adapted to receive a wire or pin for securing a tibia of a person. A foot plate is attachable to the base. The foot plate has a plurality of attached members. The members are configured for receiving at least a first wire or pin to fix a foot of the person relative to the foot plate while the foot plate is oriented normal to a superior-inferior direction of the foot. The foot plate is rotatable relative to the base while the foot plate is attached to the base.
Staple cartridge comprising driver retention members
A staple cartridge for use with a surgical instrument is disclosed. The staple cartridge comprises a cartridge body comprising a tissue-supporting surface, a staple cavity defined within the cartridge body, a staple removably positioned in the staple cavity, and a staple driver movably positioned within the staple cavity, wherein the staple driver is configured to support the staple. The staple cartridge further comprises a wedge sled translatable between a proximal end and a distal end of the staple cartridge, wherein the wedge sled is configured to move the staple driver from an unfired position to a fired position during a staple firing stroke, and a driver retention member configured to retain the staple driver in a retention position that allows for the wedge sled to be retracted after the staple firing stroke.
SURGICAL STAPLER
A surgical stapler is disclosed herein. The surgical stapler comprises a body having a distal end and a proximal end, and the body defines an interior space. A first knob and a second knob are configured adjacent the proximal end of the body. An anvil and trocar assembly is configured adjacent the distal end of the surgical stapler, wherein the anvil and trocar assembly is coupled to the first knob, and the first knob is configured to facilitate the extension and retraction of the anvil and trocar assembly at the distal end of the body. A staple and knife assembly is configured adjacent the anvil and trocar assembly within the body, wherein the staple and knife assembly is coupled to the second knob, and wherein the second knob is configured to facilitate firing of staples and actuation of a knife of the staple and knife assembly sequentially.

Suture passer devices and methods
Suture passer devices and methods of using the devices having one or more protective interlocks preventing or limiting operation of the suture passer when deployment of the needle may damage the apparatus or harm the patient. For example, described herein are suture passer devices that include an interlock preventing deployment of the tissue penetrator (needle) when the jaws are not clamped onto a tissue. Also described herein are interlocks preventing retraction of a jaw axially until the needle is retracted.
Endoscopic medical device and method of use
A medical device including a handle body having a proximal end and a distal end, a spool on the handle body and to move between the distal end and the proximal end of the handle body, a catheter extending from the distal end of the handle body, an actuator attached to the spool and extending through the catheter, such that the actuator is removably connected to one or more dispensable devices at a distal end of the catheter, a spool controller to prevent connection with another of the dispensable devices to the actuator after a predetermined number of dispensable devices have been dispensed by the medical device.
TELESCOPIC STRUCTURE FOR ELECTROTOME CAPABLE OF EVACUATING SMOKE
Embodiments provide a telescopic structure for an electrotome capable of evacuating smoke, including an electrotome pencil body. The electrotome pencil body is hollow inside and provided with an opening end at one end; the opening end of the electrotome pencil body is provided with a limit connection part. The limit connection part is sleeved with a collar; an elastic limiter is provided between the limit connection part and the collar. The telescopic structure for an electrotome capable of evacuating smoke further includes a channel that penetrates the collar and the elastic limiter in sequence and communicates with the inside of the electrotome pencil body.
