HEATED GEAR WIRELESS CHARGING
A wireless charging system for heated garments includes a garment body, a heater coupled to the garment body, a receiver coupled to the garment body and configured to wirelessly receive power, an energy storage element coupled to the garment body and configured to store charge provided to the receiver, a controller selectively providing power from the energy storage element to the heater, and a power supply including a transmitter configured to wirelessly provide power to the receiver when the transmitter is near the receiver.
ARTICLE OF CLOTHING WITH VIDEO RECORDING DEVICE SUPPORT
A video recording device, holster and article of clothing are disclosed to reliably and covertly provide for the capture of video, audio, and metadata, and perform other commands. The holster may be provided with a carrier that is, in turn, inserted into the holster. In one embodiment, the holster may be confirmed as being associated with the video recording device to authenticate a user, and establishes a docked position. Moreover, the video recording device may enter a mode of operation associated with using the video recording apparatus automatically when inserted into a holster.
Garment system providing biometric monitoring for medical condition assessment
A garment (e.g., a shirt) for monitoring biometric properties of the wearer of the garment is disclosed. The garment may include sensors for monitoring or assessing the vital signs and body position of the wearer. A processor associated with the garment may provide an output indicative of an assessed condition of the wearer based on the assessed vital signs and the assessed body position of the wearer of the fabric. The garment may include an injector assembly that is used to administer a drug injection to the wearer when the assessed condition indicates that the wearer is in an alert condition.
Smart glove
A smart glove includes a glove for housing and triggering electronic modules having a sensor; a triggering member for triggering the electronic modules; and a slide provided on the glove for partially or completely enclosing the electronic modules. The slide is made of a flexible material and comprises a base; two side walls extending from two side portions of the base; two channels extending starting from a first end of the base towards a second end of the base; a protrusion connected to the base from a connection end of the protrusion and extending between a channel; a lock end located at an end of the protrusion not connected to the base and extending from the protrusion perpendicularly or in an angled manner; a slot provided on an opposite end of the base without the lock end, comprising a hollow and extending from the base towards a roof.
WEARABLE PROTECTION DEVICE
Wearable protection device (1) comprising at least one inflatable bag (8) configured to assume alternately a rest configuration, wherein it is in a deflated state, and an active configuration, wherein it is in an inflated state and inflation means (14) in fluid communication with the inflatable bag (8) and configured to introduce therein an inflation fluid once they have been triggered. The wearable protection device (1) further comprises at least one pressure detecting device (26) associated with the at least one inflatable bag and configured for directly or indirectly detecting the pressure inside the at least one inflatable bag (8). A further object of the present invention is a method for evaluating if an inflatable bag (8) of a wearable protection device (1) is reusable once it has been inflated.
APPARATUS FOR IMPROVING DETECTION AND IDENTIFICATION BY NON-VISUAL SCANNING SYSTEM
Apparatus and method for providing improved detection and identification of objects (e.g. people, pets, bicycles or vehicles), by devices, such as autonomous vehicles, that rely on non-visible detection systems, such as lidar, for understanding their surrounding environment. Such objects having integrated or embedded materials of a predetermined shape or pattern that is readily detectable and identified by devices using such detection systems, such as autonomous vehicles. The predetermined shape or pattern is of a material, such as aluminum, that is more easily detectable by a non-visible detection system and allows the detection system to recognize and identify the type of object, even in challenging visibility conditions.
Garment provided with an inflatable protective device
A garment including an inflatable protective device that can include at least one inflatable bag suitable for moving between a rest condition, wherein it is deflated, and an operating condition, wherein it is inflated; an inflator unit designed for inflating the at least one inflatable bag; sensors designed for monitoring the user's body for shocks or unexpected movements; and a control unit designed for processing the data provided by the sensors and for activating the inflator unit if, on the basis of the data received by the sensors, a danger situation is identified. The garment can further include a display unit which has an alphanumeric and/or graphical visual display for providing the user with messages and/or symbols about the internal status of the inflatable protective device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROMINENTLY PROPAGATING ADVERTISEMENTS AND MESSAGES FROM A GARMENT
A system and method for prominently propagating advertisements and messages from a garment. The system and method provide a washable fabric section that contains a waterproof Near Field Communication (NFC) tag, and a logo label. The NFC tag and the logo label are disposed adjacent to each other, and separated by a fold line for easy visible delineation. The washable fabric section is integrated, possibly through sewing, into the washable fabric section. The washable fabric section, with the NFC tag and the logo is disposed at a prominently visible location on the garment, so as to enable widespread distribution of the advertisement or message through NFC technology. An NFC reader scans the NFC tag to read the data contained therein, which may include a web site, a social media platform, advertisements, and messages.
APPAREL AND/OR METHODS FOR COMBATING VIRUSES
A device for creating an air curtain protecting a human respiratory system is described. The device can be a hat and/or collar worn by a person and includes a constant or on demand flow of air that passes across a person's face to create an air curtain. The flow of air moving across the face blows airborne viruses away from a person's eyes, nose, and mouth. Another concept includes a glove that is outfitted with a device that purifies the glove. A battery could be mounted on a person's wrist or forearm with a small wire running down the glove. Likewise, the glove could be outfitted with UV light embedded on the surface or just underneath a permeable/top layer of the glove. Still further, the glove can carry electrical pulses aimed to kill viruses every ten seconds or so.
Integrated thermoelectric film based woven power generator
A thermoelectric module includes two insulating substrates supporting a plurality of thermoelectric fingers. Each thermoelectric finger has alternating strips of n-type doped material and p-type doped material, wherein adjacent n-type doped strips and p-type doped strips are separated by and electrically coupled to conductive regions. The thermoelectric fingers run in a first direction and are spaced apart from each other. A plurality of holes in the insulating substrates are disposed between adjacent thermoelectric fingers, and area aligned with each other. A length of fabric yarn woven is in and out of substantially aligned holes in each substantially aligned set of holes.
