NEURO STIMULATOR ARRANGMENTS
A neuro stimulator adapter for a tissue removal device is disclosed. In certain arrangements, the adapter includes an engagement sleeve and a hub. The engagement sleeve is fixedly connected to a portion of the hub. In certain arrangements, the hub further has a contact assembly disposed therein, the contact assembly configured to be connected to an electrical source to deliver neurostimlation to the tissue removal device at a distal end thereof.
FLY BY WIRE CONTROL FOR ATHERECTOMY
An atherectomy system includes a user interface that an operator engages with in order to indicate requested movement of a drive assembly. One or more sensors are adapted to ascertain one or more conditions of the drive assembly and to output one or more condition signals to a controller that is operably coupled with the operator assembly and the drive assembly. The controller is adapted to receive the request signal from the operator assembly and the one or more condition signals, to determine a command signal in response to the received request signal and the received one or more condition signals, and provide the command signal to the drive assembly. The drive assembly is adapted to move relative to the advancer assembly in accordance with the command signal.
OPHTHALMIC SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS
An ophthalmic surgical instrument for nucleus splitting includes an instrument handle having proximal and distal ends, wherein the distal end includes a pair of cooperating blade mounts which can be selectively moved relative to each other by manipulation of the handle. A pair of circular blade elements are respectively joined to the blade mounts at the distal end of the handle. Each of the blade elements have a lower cutting surface positioned generally beneath an axis defined by the respective blade mount. The lower cutting surfaces define a cutting edge for penetration of the nucleus of the eye when brought.
Head and Facial Protective Device
Embodiments disclosed herein include devices and methods of using devices for protecting a face and/or head of an individual receiving medical treatment in a supine or reclined position. The device includes a body having a top portion with an exterior surface and a base portion with an interior surface. The top portion includes opposing side edges, the base portion includes opposing bottom side edges extending outwardly from the top side edges. The base portion is flexible and is configured to wrap partially around the individual’s head, while an aperture extends between the exterior surface and the interior surface to provide access to at least one of the individual’s eyes, nose, or mouth. A strap spans the side edges, wraps behind the base portion and the individual’s head, and detachably couples to the exterior surface along a plurality of connection positions along the side edges.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR ANCHORING AN ARTIFICAL CHORDAE TENDINEAE TO CARDIAC TISSUE
A tissue anchor and an anchor delivery and deployment system. The tissue anchor is shiftable between a delivery configuration when housed in anchor garage of the anchor delivery and deployment system, and a deployment configuration when deployed outside the anchor garage. The anchor has a plurality of talons which may be formed from a laser cut tube. The talons may taper, such as widthwise.
Vaginal surgical apparatus
This invention relates generally to a medical device, and more specifically, to a vaginal surgical apparatus. In one embodiment, a vaginal device includes, but is not limited to, a shaft, the shaft including at least a space to at least partially accommodate a cervix; and a slot to secure a tenaculum; and a stopper that is positionably adjustable along at least a portion of a length of the shaft.
Endoscope surgery device
An endoscope surgery device includes a vibration unit and a surgery unit. The vibration unit generates a vibration. The surgery unit includes a sheath and a surgery member. The sheath has a tube shape with a hollow extended in a longitudinal direction, and is entirely vibrated due to the vibration from the vibration unit with inserted into the ureter. The surgery unit passes through the hollow of the sheath, and is extended to an end of the sheath for an surgical procedures on the ureter.
Snap-fit cutting guard
A tissue guard includes a body defining an open proximal end, an open distal end, and a lumen extending through the body between the open proximal end and the open distal end. A lip extends radially outwardly from the open proximal end of the body, the lip including a finger extending from an exterior peripheral surface thereof. The finger includes a flange at a distal end thereof adapted to operably engage an underside of a proximal ring of an access device to secure the tissue guard therein.
SURGICAL INSTRUMENT
Provided is a surgical instrument including a first holding member, a sleeve member, a linkage member, a second holding member, a hook member and an opening/closing member. The second holding member is pivotally connected to the first holding member and when the second holding member moves relative to the first holding member, the linkage member is moved inside the sleeve member so as to drive the opening/closing member to move relative to the hook member. Through the movement of the opening/closing member of the surgical instrument, surrounding soft tissues, blood vessels or nerves that have strayed into the hook member can be pushed out so as not to be damaged by the hook member during surgery.
HELICAL SEPARATOR AND METHODS OF OPERATING THE SAME
A catheter for use in a subject's vasculature includes a rotating and axially movable instrument. The instrument includes a rounded element at its distal end connected to a body having a spiral shape. The instrument is at least partially disposed in a lumen of the catheter and is configured for axial and rotational motion within the lumen between a proximal-most position and a distal-most position, where the body includes at least one edge configured to promote removal of a target substance from the body passageway upon contact with the target substance.
