Surgical guidance devices, systems, and methods
A guidance method comprising: placing a tracking pad adjacent a body, the tracking pad including a guiding opening and a plurality of sensors, locating a distal end of a needle inside of the guiding opening at an insertion point adjacent the body, the needle including at least one beacon, operating the plurality of sensors with the at least one beacon to track an actual disposition of the needle, establishing a target disposition for the needle, moving the needle in a direction of movement to synchronize the actual disposition with the target disposition, and inserting the distal end of the needle into the body along an insertion axis.

PHOTOACOUSTIC IMAGE GENERATING DEVICE AND INSERTION OBJECT
Even when an insertion object is inserted to a deep position of a subject or even when the insertion object is inserted into the subject at an angle close to a right angle, it is possible to confirm the position of the insertion object in a photoacoustic image. The insertion object is, for example, a hollow puncture needle 15 that includes an opening at a tip thereof. The puncture needle 15 includes a light guide member 152 that guides light emitted from a first light source to the vicinity of the opening, and a light emitting portion 153 that is provided in the vicinity of the opening and emits the light. First photoacoustic waves, which are caused by the light emitted from the light emitting portion 153, are generated in the puncture needle 15. A first photoacoustic image is generated on the basis of the first photoacoustic waves.

OPTICAL CAMERA POSITIONING TOOL
A system and method may be used to position or orient a camera within a surgical field. A method may include generating a graphical user interface including a first set of instructions to reposition the camera, and determining whether the camera is within a target volume location. The method may include automatically outputting an indication when the camera is within the target volume location. The method may include outputting a second set of instructions for display on the graphical user interface to align a laser, coupled to or integrated into the camera, to the tracker by changing an angle of the camera
System and method for locating a target subject
The present disclosure relates to a system and method for locating a target subject associated with an X-ray system. The X-ray system may include an X-ray source, a detection component, an arm, and a platform. The X-ray system may also include a first positioning component, a second positioning component, or a third positioning component. The first positioning component may be configured to determine a target point where a region of interest (ROI) of the target subject locates. The second positioning component may be configured to locate the target subject. The third positioning component may be configured to obtain location information of a target device associated with the target subject in real-time.
Aligning element for guiding a needle, aligning arrangement, guide arrangement, treatment arrangement and method
An improved guide for a medical needle is disclosed herein. An aligning element for aligning a needle guide, which is equipped for longitudinally guiding a medical needle, includes a connecting element for arranging the aligning element on the needle guide, and a light-guiding element for a predetermined diffusion of light. The light-guiding element only generates a predetermined light pattern relative to the diffusion of light in a pose predetermined by the geometry of the apparatus. Such an aligning element may be used in a treatment arrangement for longitudinally guiding a needle and in a method for aligning a needle guide.
