NEEDLE BREAST BIOPSY SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A tilted needle biopsy assembly is provided for mounting on an x-ray system. Because the biopsy needle is angled relative to at least one of the detector and the x-ray source, x-ray imaging may be performed during the biopsy procedure without interference by the biopsy device. The angled biopsy needle additionally allows improved access to the axilla and chest wall of the patient. The stereotactic biopsy device of the present invention may be coupled to any x-ray system, whether upright or prone, including but not limited to mammography systems, tomosynthesis systems, and combination mammography/tomosynthesis systems. The system flexibly supports the use of any mode of image capture (i.e., scout, two dimensional mammogram, three-dimensional reconstructed volume) for either or both target visualization and target localization. With such an arrangement, a needle biopsy assembly having improved patient coverage is provided for use with a variety of different x-ray imaging platforms.

ENDOSCOPY BAND WITH SIGMOID SUPPORT APPARATUS
An endoscopy sigmoid support apparatus that includes a primary wrap sized for placement around a subject's lower abdomen. A closing mechanism is provided at the end of the primary wrap to secure the primary wrap around the abdomen of the subject by attaching a first end of the primary wrap to a second portion of the primary wrap. A strap extends from the primary wrap and is configured to extend across at least a portion of the primary wrap and to fasten to a third portion of the primary wrap to adjust the amount of pressure applied by the endoscopy sigmoid support apparatus.

Guide block for biopsy or surgical devices
A system includes a grid-like, breast-receiving pressure plate having a polygonal opening. A prism is configured to match the polygonal opening. The prism includes a first conduit that has a zero first offset from the prism center and a second conduit that has a second offset from the prism center.

TISSUE TENSIONING DEVICE FOR CARDIAC VALVE REPAIR
The present disclosure describes interventional devices, systems, and methods for closing a regurgitant gap in a cardiac valve. Interventional devices are configured to be deployed between two previously placed implants or between a previously placed implant and a valve commissure. The interventional devices compress captured leaflet tissue and/or apply a tensioning force along the line of coaptation to assist in closing the gap and reducing regurgitant flow through the gap.

Apparatus & Method for Fixation of Tissue in Secondary & Tertiary Planes During Medical Imaging, Examination, and Intervention
A device for fixing the outer boundaries of a region of body tissue in a secondary plane (and optionally in a tertiary plane) during medical imaging, examination, and/or intervention. The caliper device includes a caliper bar with two sliding caliper arms that provide fixation of the region of tissue in the secondary plane. One embodiment provides tertiary fixation with a center plate fixator that extends from a center plate positioner. The caliper device is positioned around the region of body tissue within the primary plane fixation instrumentation. The caliper arms (and optionally, the center plate fixator) move together to thicken the region of tissue between them. The device is preferably constructed of radiotransparent material and for single-use applications.
