Systems and methods for superimposing virtual image on real-time image
Disclosed are systems and methods for superimposing a virtual image on a real-time image. A system for superimposing a virtual image on a real-time image comprises a real-time image module and a virtual image module. The real-time image module comprises a magnification assembly to generate a real-time image of an object at a first location and a first depth, with a predetermined magnification. The virtual image module generates a virtual image by respectively projecting a right light signal to a viewer's right eye and a corresponding left light signal to a viewer's left eye. The right light signal and the corresponding left light signal are perceived by the viewer to display the virtual image at a second location and a second depth. The second depth is related to an angle between the right light signal and the corresponding left light signal projected to the viewer's eyes. The second depth may be approximately the same as the first depth.
Iliac pin and adapter
Apparatus for mounting in a bone of a patient, consisting of a rigid elongated member having an axis of symmetry and a distal section, a proximal section, and an intermediate section connecting the distal and proximal sections. The apparatus has n helical blades, formed in the distal section, distributed symmetrically about the axis, each of the blades having a helix angle greater than zero and less than 45°. A cross-section of the distal section, taken orthogonally to the axis of symmetry, includes n mirror planes containing the axis of symmetry, wherein n is a whole number greater than one, and wherein the blades are configured to penetrate into the bone and engage stably therein. Adapters coupling the apparatus to different types of markers are also described
SURGERY SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD, SURGICAL APPARATUS, AND PROGRAM
The present technology relates to a surgery system, a control method, a surgical apparatus, and a program that allow easy updating of a function of a medical apparatus. A configuration includes an information processor, and a surgical apparatus. The information processor includes a storage section storing an application, and a transmission section transmitting, in response to a request from the surgical apparatus, the application stored in the storage section. The surgical apparatus includes a reception section receiving the application transmitted by the transmission section, and an execution section executing the application received by the reception section.
REAL TIME IMAGE GUIDED PORTABLE ROBOTIC INTERVENTION SYSTEM
An image-guided robotic intervention system (“IGRIS”) may be used to perform medical procedures on patients. IGRIS provides a real-time view of patient anatomy, as well as an intended target or targets for the procedures, software that allows a user to plan an approach or trajectory path using either the image or the robotic device, software that allows a user to convert a series of 2D images into a 3D volume, and localizes the 3D volume with respect to real-time images during the procedure. IGRIS may include sensors to estimate pose of the imaging device relative to the patient to improve the performance of that software with respect to runtime, robustness, and accuracy.
Control methods and devices for energy delivery
Control systems and methods for delivery of energy that may include control algorithms that prevent energy delivery if a fault is detected and may provide energy delivery to produce a substantially constant temperature at a delivery site. In some embodiments, the control systems and methods may be used to control the delivery of energy, such as radiofrequency energy, to body tissue, such as lung tissue.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO DETECT AND TRACK SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS AND/OR SURGICAL MATERIAL
Certain embodiments may relate to apparatuses and methods for performing surgical procedures. For example, a method may comprise initiating detection and tracking of at least one surgical instrument (including associated surgical material) within a surgical area. The method may further comprise performing a surgical procedure with the at least one surgical instrument and material and ending detection and tracking of the at least one surgical instrument and material within the surgical area. The method may further comprise displaying at least one indication of location status of the at least one surgical instrument.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENHANCING IMAGING DURING SURGICAL PROCEDURES
A surgical system is configured to augment the visualization environment presented to the surgeon by merging, in real-time, video feed and ultrasound imaging; tracking anatomy and instruments; identifying critical structures; generating and displaying 3-dimensional models of relevant anatomy; providing actionable guidance to the user; and enabling data collection and processing. The surgical system may include a tissue-marking surgical instrument configured to simultaneously identify critical structures beneath an organ surface and mark the organ surface at a location overlapping the identified critical structures.
SURGICAL SKILL TRAINING SYSTEM AND MACHINE LEARNING-BASED SURGICAL GUIDE SYSTEM USING THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGING
A surgical skill training system includes: a data collecting unit configured to collect actual surgical skill data on a patient of an operating surgeon; an image providing server configured to generate a 3-dimensional (3D) surgical image for surgical skill training, based on the actual surgical skill data; and a user device configured to display the 3D surgical image, wherein the image providing server includes: a patient image generating unit configured to generate a patient image, based on patient information of the patient; a surgical stage classifying unit configured to classify the actual surgical skill data into actual surgical skill data for each surgical stage performed by the operating surgeon; and a 3D image generating unit configured to generate the 3D surgical image by using the patient image, and feature information detected from the actual surgical skill data.
Augmented reality interventional system providing contextual overlays
An augmented reality interventional system which provides contextual overlays (116) to assist or guide a user (101) or enhance the performance of the interventional procedure by the user that uses an interactive medical device (102) to perform the interventional procedure. The system includes a graphic processing module (110) that is configured to generate at least one contextual overlay on an augmented reality display device system (106). The contextual overlays may identify a component (104) or control of the interactive medical device. The contextual overlays may also identify steps of a procedure to be performed by the user and provide instructions for performance of the procedure. The contextual overlays may also identify a specific region of the environment to assist or guide the user or enhance the performance of the interventional procedure by identifying paths or protocols to reduce radiation exposure.
