MULTILAYER CHILD'S JACKET CONFIGURED TO AVOID IMPEDING EFFECTIVENESS OF VEHICLE CHILD SAFETY SEAT
In one aspect, a multilayer jacket wearable by a child comprises an outer jacket layer made from a first, compressible material and an inner jacket layer made from a second material that is either non-compressible or significantly less compressible than the first material. The jacket includes a pair of layer interconnection fasteners configured to fasten together anterior panels of the respective jacket layers. Each fastener is situated on a respective side of a vertical jacket midline along a line from a first respective point at or near a bottom edge of the jacket to a respective shoulder of the jacket. The fasteners are sufficiently spaced to accommodate between them a fastened child safety seat harness when the outer jacket layer is open and portions of the anterior panel of the outer jacket layer are folded open at the respective fasteners.
Inflatable Garment
A garment having a first layer of fabric and a second layer of fabric at least partially coupled together via adhesive to form a plurality of cavities where each cavity is configured to receive air. The garment can further include a valve in fluid communication with at least one air cavity of the plurality of cavities and is configured to inflate the plurality of cavities to a target volume.

Expandable and Flexible Garment Yoke and Garment With Same
A garment has a yoke attached to the garment body, wherein the yoke is formed from a material having stretch and recovery in at least two directions thereof. The material may be formed from a fusible substrate combined with a particular fabric having stretch properties. The yoke may have an inner piece and an outer piece having substantially the same shape and size as the inner piece, and wherein at least one of the inner piece and the outer piece is formed from a material formed from a fusible substrate combined with a particular fabric having stretch properties. The garment body includes a back and a front, and the yoke includes at least one back portion configured with the back of the garment body, and at least one front portion configured with the front of the garment body. The first material has stretch and recovery properties at offset angles with respect to the at least one direction

Apparatus and method for powering a garment
A lawn mower has an electrical port that receives current from an alternator powered by the lawn mower engine. The current and voltage sent the electrical port depend on a flywheel and stator arrangement operatively connected to the alternator. The stator may be replaceable or interchangeable to selectively determine the alternator current and voltage output. The port receives a plug from a garment worn by the lawn mower operator. The garment includes one or more thermo-electric elements that are powered from current extending through the port. The thermo-electric elements may be resistive heaters to warm the operator or TEC coolers to cool the operator. Furthermore, the garment may include a rechargeable battery that powers the thermo-electric elements when the plug is disconnected from the port.

JACKET WITH BACK SIDE CLOSURE
A jacket includes a first back flap, a main body including a front portion and second back flap, and a pair of sleeves. The first back flap and the second back flap are detachably connectable to one another to selectively open and close an opening on the back side of the jacket. The first back flap may include a first connector disposed on an upper end of the first back flap and the second back flap may include a second connector disposed on an upper end of the second back flap, the first connector and the second connector being detachably connectable to one another to facilitate the opening and closing of the opening in the jacket. The jacket may also include a hood detachably connectable to a collar on the first back flap.

Conformable seamless three dimensional articles and methods therefor
Waterproof, breathable garments and methods of making are provided. The garments may include a laminate of a seamless ePTFE membrane and at least one textile. The garment is conformable over a range of sizes, and may be shaped to fit numerous sizes and shapes of forming molds. The ePTFE membrane may shrink to fit, or, alternatively, be stretched to fit, a mold having a desired size to form a garment. Such a conformable ePTFE membrane may allow for forming multiple sizes of garments with various sizes and shapes of molds. In embodiments where the ePTFE membrane is seamless and continuous, the garment eliminates the need for a waterproof seam tape, which is conventionally used to make garments waterproof.
