A tennis garment includes a seamless tubular waistband including a top end and a bottom end, a liner short coupled to the waistband, and a skirt coupled to one or both of the waistband and the liner short. The waistband includes at least first, second and third compression regions between the top end and the bottom end. The first, second and third compression regions have first, second and third compression levels, respectively. The first compression region is at or adjacent to the top end. The third compression region is positioned toward the bottom end, and the second compression region being positioned between the first and third compression regions. The third compression level is greater than the second compression level, and the second compression level is greater than the first compression level.

A waistband for a garment includes a bandroll having an absorption layer and a wicking layer. The wicking layer controls stretch properties of the absorption layer. The waistband comprises a second material and wherein a shrinkage of a material substrate of the bandroll substantially matches a shrinkage of the second material.

The present disclosure provides articles of manufacture with improved moisture control as well as methods of making such articles. In some embodiments, provided herein the article has a fabric with an outer hydrophobic surface and an inner surface with hydrophobic and hydrophilic regions where the hydrophilic regions can form a pattern, allowing moisture to collect and move through the pattern, and the hydrophobic regions prevent the whole inner surface from becoming moist and the outer hydrophobic regions does not show moisture. The fabric may be used to make garments. The entire inner surface of the garment may be patterned with hydrophilic patterns for partial absorption, and the entire outer surface of the garment is hydrophobic, thereby preventing perspiration from being seen from outside of the garment. Further provided herein are methods of making fabrics with improved moisture control including by printing or knitting.

A functional clothing having improved pockets is provided. The functional clothing includes a clothing body, a first pocket, a card holder pocket, a second pocket and an inner pocket. The first pocket is disposed on the clothing body and has a first pocket space. The card holder pocket is disposed in the first pocket space, and the card holder pocket has at least one card holder pocket space. The second pocket is disposed on the clothing body and has a second pocket space. The inner pocket is disposed in the second pocket space, and the inner pocket has an inner pocket space.

A functional clothing having improved pockets is provided. The functional clothing includes a clothing body, a first pocket, a card holder pocket, a second pocket and an inner pocket. A garment for shaping a form of its wearer includes a front panel and a back panel coupled to one another at first and second seams. The front panel comprises self-lining material in each of a bottom portion and a pectoral portion and compression layer material in a torso portion of the front panel. The back panel includes a first arcuate portion of compression layer material along the first seam and a second arcuate portion of compression layer material along the second seam. Lining material extends from an upper portion of the back panel to a bottom portion of the back panel and is coupled to the two arcuate portions such that the two arcuate portions are separated by the lining material. The compression layer material has a higher elastic modulus than a respective elastic modulus of the lining material.
