Nanoceramic dental prosthetic

A method of installing a dental prosthetic device includes securing a first guide member to an alveolar arch in a mouth of a patient. The first guide member is utilized to achieve a substantially planar bone surface along the alveolar arch. A second guide member is coupled with the first guide member. The second guide member is utilized to install one or more implants in the alveolar arch through substantially planar bone surface. A dental prosthetic is secured to the one or more implants. The dental prosthetic includes nanoceramic material.

Zygomatic Dental Implant Guide and Method of Use

A zygomatic implant guide apparatus includes a first surgical guide conforming to a patient's maxillary region, and a second surgical guide that also conforms to the patient's maxillary region. The first and second surgical guides include maxillary sinus windows, and the second surgical guide includes at least one bushing sleeve. A bushing is provided for insertion into the bushing sleeve, extending into the patient's maxillary sinus in order to engage and govern the position of a zygomatic implant drill as it travels through the patient's maxillary sinus to engage the patient's zygomatic bone.

SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR PRODUCING IMPLANT PLACING GUIDE
20230248490 · 2023-08-10 ·

According to the invention, there are provided a system, a method and a computer program for producing an implant placing guide. In some embodiments, a method might include acquiring a three-dimensional intraoral image by a CT scan in a state where a guide tray filled with an impression material is inserted into an oral cavity of a patient and receiving implant planning information on the three-dimensional image. The method may continue by matching an image of the guide tray and the three-dimensional image by using marker information of the guide tray and locating a guide hole on the image of the guide tray. Next, the method may continue by generating an implant-placing-guide processing file by using the image of the guide tray in which the guide hole is located. According to the invention, a time for producing an implant placing guide is significantly shortened improving patient experience.

Intraoral coordinate system of dentition for the design and placement of dental implants

This invention provides a mapped dental Cone Beam Computer Tomography (CBCT) workspace for the planning of placement of dental implants in the oral cavity. The workspace includes a template coordinate system in the oral cavity of a patient by placing a radiographic template having at least three radiographic markers of predetermined shape, size, and positions in the oral cavity, wherein the predetermined position is relative to at least one anatomical feature (natural or artificial) in the oral cavity. With this method, only a single CBCT scan is required. The CBCT scan is used to create a CBCT workspace with a coordinate system based on the radiographic template. Within the workspace, Implant Planning Software can be used to plan dental implants.

Bone foundation guide system and method

A bone foundation guide system has a bone foundation guide including a body that is contoured to reversibly affix to a bone segment of a dental implant surgical site. The body is further contoured to guide the cutting of a portion of the bone segment from a dental implant surgical site and alternatively support a dental implant surgical guide. The body is further contoured to support a bone foundation guide prosthesis as an alternative to the dental implant surgical guide. The bone foundation guide prosthesis combines with the body to accommodate the bone segment portion as placed through the body prior to the bone segment portion being removed from the dental implant site through the use of the body.
