Device for viewing an interior of a mouth
The viewing device for the interior of a mouth of a patient includes a penetrating ray emitter adapted to take a view of an inner portion located under an outer surface of an organ arranged in the mouth. There is a pair of augmented-reality glasses having an optical glass through which a user of the pair of glasses can see the interior of the mouth and a viewing camera adapted to take an image of what the user sees through the optical glass. A central unit correlates first images corresponding to those taken by the viewing camera with second images corresponding to those taken by the penetrating-ray emitter.
POSITIONING JIG AND IMPROVED METHODS TO DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE DENTAL IMPLANTS
This invention is directed to a positioning jig for preparing a two or more of adjacent teeth for a dental prosthesis comprising a member with (i) three or more parallel bores in the member and (ii) one or more means to attach the member to a dental articulator. The invention is also directed to methods of use of the position jig such as to prepare a series of aligned holes in teeth or aligned holes mockup of a dental bridge for a prosthesis.
PAIRED TEMPLATES FOR PLACING DENTAL IMPLANTS AND ENHANCING REGISTRATION FOR DENTURE PROSTHETICS ATTACHED TO THE IMPLANTS
A denture is registered and secured to implants with the help of paired surgical-prosthetic implants fabricated based on 3D imaging of the patient's mouth and the denture. The surgical template has guide holes that are located and oriented to guide dental instrumentation forming accurately located and oriented osteotomies for the implants. The prosthetic template conforms to the denture and has guide holes that are located and oriented such that connection holes in the denture can be formed through the guide holes in the paired prosthetic template. The connection holes clear the replacement teeth of the denture and line up with the implants. Attachment elements can be inserted through the connection holes in the denture to secure the denture to the implants.
Therapeutic Tooth Bud Ablation
An ablation procedure. The ablation procedure may be applied to tooth buds 120 and result in tooth agenesis. The ablation procedure may be applied to lesions or tumors. A tooth bud ablation system for use in a tooth bud ablation procedure that results in tooth agenesis. A method for volume scanning both hard tissues and soft tissues of a patient. A method for manufacturing or fabricating a custom surgical stent 110. A custom surgical stent 110 for use in a tooth bud ablation procedure that results in tooth agenesis, the custom surgical stent 110 for use with an ablation probe tip 108 having a center of ablation 130a.
Dental bone implant and implant method
A dental bone implant constituted of: a superstructure sized and shaped to fit tightly to a periodontal alveolar bone, the superstructure constituted of: a first face arranged to face a surface of the periodontal alveolar bone; a second face, opposing the first face; and a plurality of perforations extending from the first face to the second face, and non-solidified bone augmentation material deposited within the plurality of perforations, wherein the perforations are of a size sufficient to secure the non-solidified bone augmentation material deposited within the plurality of perforations.
METHODS OF PLANNING A ROBOT-IMPLEMENTED DENTAL PROCEDURE
A method of forming a procedure plan includes arranging a tracking arm distal end in communication with a reference location (RL) about a site or an object received thereat (S/O), the RL disposed in relation to the tracking arm in a 3D space. Physical points about the S/O are each contacted with an end effector of a procedure tool engaged with a robot arm disposed in known relation to the tracking arm, and locations thereof concurrently determined in the 3D space. A reference frame (RF) is formed in the 3D space, relative to the RL, from the locations of the physical points, and includes a location of the S/O within the RF. A plan is formed for an end effector procedure on the S/O, within the RF and relative to the RL, including a route traversed by the end effector to and from the S/O and during the procedure.
GUIDED DENTAL SURGICAL ADAPTER WITH IMPROVED SURGICAL ADAPTABILITY TO PATIENT PHYSIOLOGY
Guided surgical implant systems, kits and methods including at least one guide adapter and at least one drill component removably connectable with the at least one guide adapter. The kit may include adapters, drills, taps and drivers of various sizes and can be provided for facilitating the guided surgery while permitting substantial interchangeability therebetween so as to accommodate in-surgery adjustment of a prescribed drilling protocol.
System and dental implant for reducing losses of dental implants or dental prostheses
A dental implant includes an insertion portion which extends along an implant axis, and a coronal projection for receiving an abutment having a dental prosthesis formed thereon, which can be mounted on the dental implant with a screw. The insertion portion includes a coronal region and an apical region. The coronal projection extends from the coronal region of the insertion portion in the coronal direction and along a prosthesis axis. The coronal projection and the insertion portion are integrally connected in one piece. The prosthesis axis and the implant axis are inclined towards each other, and the abutment having the dental prosthesis formed thereon is attachable to the dental implant with only one screwing operation in the direction of the prosthesis axis.
Systems and methods including palatal expanders with anchor interfaces
A series of a palatal expanders increasing width can be used to gradually expand a patient's palate. Each palatal expander may have a palatal region flanked by teeth regions. The palatal region can have a plurality of anchor-receiving features (e.g., anchor interfaces) that allow the palatal expander to be attached to temporary anchorage device anchors that have been implanted into the patient's maxilla.
Implant plate device
An implant plate device comprises a plate base body, further comprises at least one fixing recess, which is introduced in the plate base body and is configured for receiving a jawbone screw that is configured, for a fixation of the plate base body, to be screwed through the fixing recess into a bone, in particular a jawbone, and comprises at least one inner thread adjoining the fixing recess, wherein the implant plate device comprises at least one functional recess, introduced in the plate base body, for a coupling with an orthodontic treatment apparatus and/or with a drilling and/or insertion templet.
