Bone foundation guide system and method
A bone foundation guide system has a bone foundation guide including a body that is contoured to reversibly affix to a bone segment of a dental implant surgical site. The body is further contoured to guide the cutting of a portion of the bone segment from a dental implant surgical site and alternatively support a dental implant surgical guide. The body is further contoured to support a bone foundation guide prosthesis as an alternative to the dental implant surgical guide. The bone foundation guide prosthesis combines with the body to accommodate the bone segment portion as placed through the body prior to the bone segment portion being removed from the dental implant site through the use of the body.
IMPLANT PLACEMENT TREPHINE, PREPACKAGED AND SIZED IMPLANT / TREPHINE KIT, AND METHODS OF USE
An implant placement trephine may be used to drill into bone and also to bore a core of bone for purposes of forming an implant channel for implant placement. The trephine generally includes a trephine body with a cutting blade at one end and a spindle extending through the trephine body with a pilot drill at one end extending beyond the cutting blade. The spindle may be adjustably attached to the trephine body to allow the pilot drill to be adjusted relative to the trephine cutting blade. The trephine may be prepackaged with an implant, such as a dental implant, having a corresponding size. The implant placement trephine may be used for different osteotomy applications, for example, to form a channel for dental implants or orthopedic retaining stabilizers. The trephine may also facilitate harvesting bone from the core of bone removed for an autograft at the implant site.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DENTAL DRILLING TEMPLATE
The invention relates to a method for producing a dental drilling template which is adapted to the jaw structure of a patient and which comprises at least one guide channel (5) for guiding a drilling tool, in which said guide channel (5) is arranged, in accordance with positional data, on an impression element (1) comprising a negative impression of the jaw structure. A mounting element (6) which comprises an adaptation element (7) and which is adapted to the required position of the guide channel (5) is produced by machining a material by means of a machining machine and a periodic closed mould mounting structure (10), preferably a closed mould mounting structure (10) in at least two directions is produced on the mounting element (6), during the production in accordance with the positional data. A channel element (4) already comprising the guide channel (5), in particular in the form of a metal housing, and which comprises an adaptation area (7) which corresponds to the adaptation element (7) of the mounting element (6), and which is in particular formed by the guide channel (5) itself, is secured to the produced mounting element (6). The part formed by the interconnected mounting element (6) and the channel element (4) and comprising the closed mould mounting structure (10) of the mounting element (6) is fixed in a position which is calculated in accordance with the positional data, on a mounting plate (12) comprising a corresponding closed mould structure (14), in particular in a periodic structure (14) in at least two directions. The impression element (1) is secured to the securing element (2) opposite the mounting plate (12) and the channel element (4) is arranged, by fixing, in particular by sticking, on the impression element (1) and by detaching from the mounting element (6) to the impression element (1).
EDENTULOUS SURGICAL GUIDE
A dental surgical drill guide assembly and method includes a surgical guide housing and a base frame that fits to both gum tissue and one or multiple small areas of jawbone. The apparatus may be configured to accurately place dental implants according to planned positions. Such apparatus may increase the stability of the surgical guide by clasping and/or contacting the jawbone, while improving the overall fit and minimizing the need of invasive surgery and flapping by also clasping and/or contacting selected areas of the gum tissue at the same time. Self-locking alignment members aid in easy removal, and re-installation, of the surgical guide housing to the base frame.
Drill guide device for dental implant
A drill guide device for dental implant has a positioning unit and a guiding unit. The positioning unit has a rod, a twist knob and a base. The twist knob has a first indexing table and at least two graduated markings of elevation angle. The base has a second indexing table matching the first indexing table. The twist knob is mounted in the base. The guiding unit has an inner guider and a middle guider. The inner guider has a first bending portion and two first abutting panels, and an inner diameter of the first bending portion corresponds to an outer diameter of the rod. The middle guider has a second bending portion and two second abutting panels respectively attached to the first abutting panels, and an inner diameter of the second bending portion corresponds to an outer diameter of the first bending portion.
Dental Implement
A dental implement includes a cutting head and a guide body. The cutting head defines proximal and distal ends and includes at least one cutting surface, with all cutting surfaces of the implement being exclusively located on the cutting head. The guide body is positioned proximally of the cutting surfaces and includes at least one longitudinal flute that extends between proximal and distal ends of the guide body. The flute is configured to facilitate communication of irrigation fluid to a surgical site within a patient. A stop is formed integrally with the guide body and extends radially outward from its proximal end. The stop defines a maximum transverse cross-section of the implement extending orthogonally to the implement's longitudinal axis and is configured to contact a surgical guide to limit advancement of the implement during use.
