Ultrasonic tool
An ultrasonic instrument includes a tip portion, a transducer configured to convert electrical energy into vibrational energy, an acoustic transformer interconnecting the transducer and the tip portion, and a grip portion disposed at least partially about the acoustic transformer. The grip portion is coupled to the acoustic transformer via a resilient nodal coupling at a nodal region of the acoustic transformer. The resilient nodal coupling is configured to provide rotational and axial stability to the acoustic transformer.
VIBRATORY INSTRUMENT WITH IMPROVED TOOL-CHANGING MEANS
An instrument that includes a tod; a tool-holder; complementary means for vibrational coupling of the tool to the tool-holder which can be activated by relative movement of the tool and the tool-holder along a vibrational coupling/uncoupling stroke; and complementary rclcaaable means for attaching the tool to the tool-holder allowing, when the tool is attached to the tool-holder, the vibrational coupling/uncoupling stroke. The attachment means may include two attachment members, male and female, which can be attached together by relative movement along an attachment/detachment stroke. The attachment members cannot be deformed during the attachment/detachment stroke. The stroke includes an axial component and a component in a plane substantially transverse to the axial component, referred to as the transverse component. The axial and transverse components of the attachment/detachment stroke are defined by complementary interlocking shapes provided on the two connection members
TOOL-COUPLING DEVICE FOR A VIBRATION TRANSFERRING HANDPIECE
A vibration-transmitting medical tool-coupling device includes a first coupling element and a second coupling element, wherein one of the two coupling elements is designed as a coupling protrusion which can be inserted into a coupling recess on the other coupling element, wherein the coupling protrusion and the coupling recess each have a first section having a thread with at least one thread flight for releasable connection of the two coupling elements and one second section which is designed so that the two coupling elements can be positioned relative to one another and are displaceable along the shared longitudinal axis before the two coupling elements can be connected releasably to one another by the thread. A guide ring which extends around the coupling protrusion is provided on one end of the thread which is arranged on the coupling protrusion and the at least one thread flight of the thread ends at this guide ring.
Electric reciprocation generator for reamer and electric reciprocation generator attached with reamer
A vibration-side housing is attached to a tip of a handle-side housing, and a motor in which a plate cam is attached to a rotating shaft is housed. A vibration tube mounting opening opens at distal end part of the vibration-side housing, and a vibration tube is mounted thereon. The vibration tube is provided to vibrate in a forward-backward direction while urged in the plate cam direction via a spring with respect to the vibration-side housing. The vibration tube contacts with the plate cam via a roller at a rear end part. A reamer mounting opening opens at a tip of the vibration tube, and receives and tightly holds an insertion part of the reamer. The reamer including the bendable needle part is attachable/detachable to the vibration-side housing.
